Avoid Senetic – terrible service and communication

I ordered an item from Senetic and paid extra for express courier delivery (€25.59 + VAT, compared to €8 for regular delivery). The promised delivery date was 30/12, and I chose express delivery because I urgently needed the item.

On 30/12, I took a day off to be at home for the delivery, but it never arrived. I tried contacting Senetic and UPS, but there was no response. The same thing happened on 31/12—still no delivery and no communication from either company. Frustrated and out of options, I had to purchase the item locally in the store, spending €100 (much cheaper that from Senetic) because it was essential.

On 3/01, the courier finally arrived late in the afternoon with the item. When I asked why it wasn’t delivered on time, he rudely shouted at me, insisting it was “on time.” The interaction was unpleasant and intimidating.

I reluctantly accepted the delivery, and now I have two of the same item, which I don’t need. Senetic has yet to respond to any of my emails or acknowledge the situation.

I typically don’t write online reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. I lost nearly €180 because of their poor service and lack of communication. I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Senetic.

Took nearly a month for delivery

Took nearly a month for the product to come, box was damaged and product didn’t work as I hoped it would not sure if this was because it had obviously taken some bangs in transport or something from my end but very unhappy after waiting.

Ordered a Hikvision NVR

Ordered a Hikvision NVR. Item came delivered by FedEx to Ireland in 1 week. Their website is a .ie but the order came from Poland. Model number was correct, no damage and I emailed them before I bought and they said I had 3 years warranty and if there's a problem they would pay for it to be posted back. Email was replied to next working day morning.

I ordered TP Link products from…

I ordered TP Link products from Senetic, contacted the customer service and asked them to handle this with priority. Odered at 2:20PM dispatch in 2 hours and delivered on the following morning to Ireland from Poland. The cusotmer service was prompt, the product arrived with UK power cord. Great company, we will use them again. Special thanks to Krysztof from the customer service.

A Terrible Company

A terrible company, they sent me a package with European electrical plugs that will not work in Irealnd. I've followed them up with 3 emails and 2 phone calls, they simply will not respond to my requets for a refund or a replacement. I would not recommend this Company.

Not a IE/UK Retailer

I ordered from senetic.ie recently for the first time on behalf of our company. I thought I was ordering from an Irish site but they have just registered that domain and are based out of Poland.

What that meant for us was slow to ship and here's the kicker we ordered 8 devices which all came with European power supplies. When I raised it with them they told me they would send 8 x adapters. Not ideal, 8 x UK power supplies would be more appropriate and if you are selling into UK/IE markets you should know this already.

I purchased an item that was not suitable

I purchased an item that was not suitable after I selected it from their website. I contacted Senetic returns department who informed me they would only take the item back and return my money if I agreed to take a deduction. The item cost €195.00 and Senetic returned €112.00. The item was not used and returned in its original packaging. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The number on the .ie site is fake

The number on the .ie site is fake, tried calling various times customer service answered in polish and didn't speak English they then proceeded to hang up on me. for a company selling IT they had the worst phone service I've ever come across, not happy.

Don't use them if you're in Ireland.

When you pay, they don't accept your payment like any other company does - it has to be "verified" - which takes 24 hrs to verify - even though it's standard business debit card. Then it goes in to "processing" and more hours pass. Finally it get's to dispatched, but this company is not based in Ireland. They are in Poland. 2 Days after ordering, my package is still in Poland with UPS. Expected delivery in 10 days. I wish I had ordered from Elara or another company based in Ireland, as I would have the equipment already with much less hassle. This company is not based in Ireland despite having a .IE domain name. I feel it's a deception, trying to get orders from Irish businesses, but not telling you they are not an Irish company, and your order will take forever to arrive. I will not use Senetic.ie again.

Excellent service

Placed an order and was originally told 2-3 weeks time frame. Order delivered within 4 days! Absolutely thrilled with the service and quick response of Ewa to my emails. Would highly recommend and will use again.

I ordered two 12TB HGST hard drives…

I ordered two 12TB HGST hard drives from this company, which were delivered to a wrong address and eventually recovered after a month by own efforts. Senetic did not offer a refund or a replacement and really could not care less if I lost my money. When I eventually got them, they were not in official HGST packaging and were just loosely thrown into a tacky cardboard box to rattle along the way. Worse still, they have NO WARRANTY from HGST (it should have been 5 years), which says "return to seller". Good luck with that!
Do not be so stupid as to deal with this company.

We were in constant contact during the procedure and we are sorry that you think we did not care about your issue.
