It’s a scam. Don’t buy or sell tickets on this website. In my case, I had a bad experience with a sale. They don’t offer any solutions.

We have bought tickets to a football match in Spain, Christmas present for my nephew. We bought the tickets in viagogo. The tickets were supposed to arrive one hour before the match, we were there, waiting at the door of the stadium and the tickets have never arrived.
THIS IS A FRAUD, A SCAM. STAY AWAY
I bought two tickets to the Paul McCartney concert. Then I saw the reviews and got worried. But everything went well: the tickets arrived three weeks before the event, were valid, and for exactly the seats that I had paid for. The tickets were about 25% more expensive than the official seller, but the official seller quickly ran out of them.
We were looking for two tickets for an event. Mobile phone search and search in two different laptops showed three different prices for the same tickets (the cheapest ones). Incognito mode didn't show AT ALL the same exact tickets. Definitely sketchy

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WE LEARNT OUR LESSON BY PAYING ALOT, PLEASE DON'T REPEAT OUR MISTAKE. We bought 2 very very expensive resale tickets to go see Rafa Nadal play for the last time in Davis Cup on 19 November 2024, few days ago. We were willing to pay for the ultra expensive tickets if it was very close to the tennis players. Viagogo site misled us by circling the tickets we were going to purchase as the first box (lower zone) row 9 closest to the court, where we will get to see Rafa and the players quite close.
But when we turn up, we were ushered to the highest box up there in the corner as you can imagine!! The last row of the whole stadium! How can we pay high thousands of dollars per ticket from first lowest box closest to the players to the most obscure box up there??? This is a clear misrepresentation by the seller and by Viagogo's inability to verify these tickets and allow sellers to CHEAT users. The original tickets were 40 EUR and we were misled to pay >15x of that !!!! When we approached Viagogo, they just simply ignored our appeal and say they cannot help. They don't even have an escrow to protect users post the actual event where you WILL BY THEN KNOW whether the tickets are real or fake??? PLEASE DON'T USE VIAGOGO, you really won't know if your tickets are fake or not. In our case, we got cheated.

Please, learn from my mistake and avoid this company.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Viagogo and feel it’s important to share to help others avoid the same mistake.
I purchased two tickets for an event through Viagogo, thinking I was using a reliable platform. Instead, it’s turned into a months-long fight just to get what I paid for. An hour before the event, I received digital tickets for the day before the event. These tickets were completely useless. I contacted customer service immediately, and they assured me I would receive a refund. However. Over the next three months, I repeatedly reached out to Viagogo for updates. Each time, I received a different excuse:
1. The issue was escalated and still under review.
2. There was a system problem, and I needed to try again later.
3. I hadn’t “returned” the tickets (which were digital, making their claim nonsensical - It's ridiculous to expect me to return digital tickets for an event that had already happened the day before!)
They also claimed they tried to contact me multiple times, but when I insisted and insisted on proof of these supposed attempts of them contacting me (dates and times), they couldn’t provide anything. Meanwhile, I had records of every time I contacted them.
In the end, they refused to honour their own refund policy and offered me a 25% voucher as compensation—completely unacceptable for tickets I never received. They even ended the chat abruptly without giving me a chance to respond further.
Key Takeaways:
• Viagogo’s “insurance” doesn’t protect you. It’s useless when something goes wrong (No, you don’t even have a choice – you have to pay for it).
• Customer service is unreliable and dismissive. They make promises but don’t follow through and they close chats and hang up on you.
• Refund policies aren’t honoured. They’ll find any excuse to avoid taking responsibility.
I strongly recommend avoiding Viagogo. If anything goes wrong, you’ll be stuck chasing them for months on end. Save yourself the stress and waste of time and choose a platform with better customer service and accountability.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
I can't even begin to describe how angry I am after this experience! I paid 205 euros for two tickets to Sofiane Pamart's concert in Barcelona, and one week before the event, when I downloaded my tickets, I see that the price on each ticket is 56 euros. When I asked for a payment breakdown, I discovered that they had completely ripped me off, charging me 74 euros per ticket, 40 euros in processing fees, 10 euros in VAT, and 6 euros for delivery! All of this for ELECTRONIC tickets, sent by email! The actual price for the two tickets was 112 euros, and I ended up paying almost double for no reason!
I contacted customer service to ask AT LEAST for a refund on the delivery fees, which are totally unjustified, but of course, they refused to help. These are scammers, avoid them at all costs! Don’t make the same mistake I did, never buy from this seller, they are THIEVES!

Bought tickets for Argentina vs…
Bought tickets for Argentina vs Bolivia, with a little suspicious about reading all the comments that this is a supposed scam, I received my original ticket on time and enter the event without problems, people are complaining about the high prices, but this is normal around the world, this is an "official" reselling website, most of the events they sell, you can not enter because they are for the "socios first-entry" so is normal that you will pay more than the original price, just like you will buy a normal ticket in the street "black market". at least here you have customer service and have no problem, just bought Boca-Riestra, and no outsider can buy ticket for La Bombonera and now I got my ticket, thanks VIAGOGO

Tickets for the Poland vs…
I bought tickets for the Poland vs Portugal match. I live in the UK, and I ordered plane tickets and booked a hotel in Warsaw. I was traveling with a child. Starting from 10 AM on the day of the match, I contacted Viagogo to ask when I would receive the tickets. I was told the tickets would be available by 6 PM. After 6 PM, I contacted them again and was informed that there would be no tickets. I do not recommend this service.

Scammers and resellers of ticketmaster
Purchased 2 tickers for Karol G on 21/07
They claimed that we will be seated together during checkout process and that's what Order stated - 527 | Row 2 | Seat 21 - 28
In fact I received two tickets in different sectors 527 and 521! Those are 3 sectors from each other - you call this "seated together"?
Another thing is that these were the screenshot from the ticketmaster app not the genuine tickets.
Now I am not sure if I should travel to Madrid as they may not let me in to the event

Ladrones - thieves
Ladrones! I've transferred a ticket but the buyer refused it.
Not only I had to sell the ticket by myself one day before the event, they also charged me for half the price the ticket.
They are just thieves!

Total scam, do not buy
Do not ever buy anything from this. This is a re-selling fraudolent site, you pay massive amount of money but you can get invalid tickets losing both money and concert. You have no way to cancel your purchase and the reselling system doesn't work. Why is scam site keeps working despite the bad reviews of thousand of people?

SCAM!!!!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR TICKET WITH THESE SCAMMERS.
I purchased a ticket for Pearl Jam’s concert in Barcelona. They do not directly send you your ticket. They only send it to you when you claim it. But once claimed, they mention it can take a long time. Telling the ticket office at the concert what my problem is (that I do not have a ticket although I purchased one) they told me it is an unofficial fraudulent source.
This is incredible. This should be illegal!!!!!!!

No tickets no money
Bought tickets for my family for the concert in Barcelona (for 1400 EUR!). In 2 days they wrote that tickets were transferred and are in my account. On the day of the concert, It was no tickets in my account, and received nothing by email. Came to the Ticketmaster and saw that the ticket transfer was canceled by the sender. Was talking with their support before the concert for 40 minutes, and had nothing. My wife bought other tickets (worse). After I wrote the claim that I wanted my money back, there were no answers! Tried to ask in the chat, but they were rude and lied to me (at first that the tickets were sent and after that, it was too much time after the concert).
UPD: After several letters from my side, I got the money back.

Viagogo is SAFE!
I just bought and sold tickets for the UEFA Champions League Final and everything went smooth, today I got my payment from the tickets I sold. Great service and their costumer service is top notch. I understand people feel a bit worried about them but it's completely safe.

They show you different prices on .es vs on .com
My tickets wouldn't appear after I put them on sale. Now I look at viagogo.com instead of .es and they show me totally different prices (still without my tickets). Very shady.
