Wix is a wonderful resource, with easy to navigate tools and features. You are able to create a free account and set up your page or at least play around with the site to learn the settings before deciding to go ahead. They only charge you once you publish your site, which I think says a lot about them as a business. So, create an account and play around, find out for yourself if Wix is right for you.

Easy to Use & Real Customer Service.
The web designer is as simple as drag & drop. It is very easy to use, even without much knowledge of creating websites. After attempting, and failing, to rename
a specific page within my site, I was able to quickly get a live customer support chat with "Cindy". The directions and guidance she provided me were extremely helpful with literal step by step instructions and pictures (from my actual site) with arrows pointing me where to go and how to complete the task. We were able to resolve my issue and get the store back up and running. I have always enjoyed the ease of use with Wix and todays experience with customer support has solidified my choice in using Wix.

Edgar A. helped me with a simple, yet frustrating issue, since it wasn't obvious where to find the solution. He knew what I meant immediately, then quickly recorded a video of him going through the steps on the screen to resolve the issue, then sent me the video (with added written, numbered steps to take, mind you). I never see customer service like this anymore (from anywhere). I know it was a simple thing for him to do, but it was exactly what was needed and incredibly helpful. I hope everyone in CS learns from Edgar. Thank you!

PREMIUM RISK USER CAN'T LOG IN BLOCKED ACCOUNT

My website was launched on Christmas Eve, and then swiftly blocked by Wix the very next day with ZERO explanation.
They kept asking for the last four digits of my credit card that I used to pay for a PREMIUM account + my Driver's License.
They kept stating that it is for security reasons. This makes me VERY SUSPICIOUS of Wix.
If there is a fraud issue with my credit card, my card company would have alerted me and not let the transaction proceed. Why is Wix so "concerned" about how I paid for an upgrade?
Even extra suspicious since there headquarters is in another country - which still prompts the question of why they need my credit card info AND ID.

It keeps getting worse from here...
- When I first got the notification, they - wix, even blocked me from contacting them!
How the h*ll am I supposed to submit a ticket?!!!!

I had to use a different device to submit a ticket.

- I kept asking why they needed the last four digits of my credit card and my Driver's License. The only responses I would get is that they need to "verify" my information.
I reluctantly submitted it in hopes of my site coming back online.
Nothing.

- I keep getting the run around, passed on, and told that they can't do anything.

I am SO BEYOND DISAPPOINTED.
My partner worked very hard to get my website up, and gifted it as a Christmas gift.
I had made announcements on all my social media accounts.

That has not only hurt me financially, but also in my reputation.

Avoid Wix at ALL COSTS
It's been to a week with no resolution.
My partner has already decided to rebuild my website on another platform that actually has been noted for their great customer service and waaaay better pricing.

Wix does not support their customers

Wix does not support their customers. Everytime I have an issue, it's hard to get someone on the phone, they are not helpful when you do get them on the phone. This is not great for small businesses like mine. Save your time and energy and go to Shopify!

Don't trust Wix

Don't trust Wix, don't put your card details cause they steal your money, and then they tell you to ask the money back to your bank!!! Your account and your personal informations aren't safe there.

Switching to Wix Studio

I wanted to switch from wix to wix studio and I hadn't known how to do so. Though I had fantastic support from Cristian who talked me through the options and I managed to switch over my account.

An exercise in frustration

I was using the Core tier (not the free one)
1. Tried to set up checkout and payment processing on my wix website and it was awful. E.g. it was impossible to set up so that tax rates were different based on location.
2. Customer service is terrible. Any problem that came up was this huge deal. First, they never understood what the problem was despite screen shots and clear descriptions. When they finally understood what the problem was, they invariably would claim that it was actually Google's fault (or some other company). When it became obvious that it was a wix issue, they would tell me there was nothing they could do, and that was just how wix works. This happened like 3 times and after that if anything was broken I figured it was just up to me to find a work-around.
3. Site speed is pretty slow. When users click on wix-made pages, it takes just a little too long to get there.
