Mega Mall Story2 12+

There are a few things I like about this game: the cute/unique graphics, the constant rewards, and the monstrous size of the mall.

All of this comes together in a game that allows to have fun constructing your own mall. There are many stores and attractions you can build and the art for each one is done amazingly; whether it’s an arcade, an indoor ski hill or a movie theater. The customers that you will meet along the way are all interesting and varied as well.

One thing is for sure, if you download this app you will have a great time! :D

I was a big fan of the first mega mall story, I played it three years ago and it was my gateway to kairosoft games. Changes from the first game include a new way of unlocking stores (buy them with hearts) as well as a new engine, some new shops and multi-level shops that add a bigger element of thought to planning out your mall. I am very glad that this is a paid release rather than F2P, since after playing this there’s no way I could go back to the first game.

I enjoy many Kairosoft games and loved the first Mega Mall, but I just can’t get into this one mainly due to the graphics. It’s not the classic Kairosoft graphics and interface. Instead of a cute, pixelated, 2D look, this one is very sleek and overbearing. It loses charm for me and I find it to be very obnoxious to simply play the game and navigate the menus. Part of Kairosoft’s appeal for me is familiarity mixed with fresh ideas and new mechanics, and if I didn’t know, I wouldn’t think this was a Kairosoft game. I don’t doubt the mechanics and upgrades from the first game are good, but I can’t get past the new graphics. I’ll be sticking with classic looking Kairosoft games!
