Great game but...

I remember playing these Total War games on my old Windows and they were super fun. I bought this game for my Mac and evrything is still really fun and exactly how I remembered it... but there's just one problem. It will not let me tell my guys to attack the enemy and will also not let me tell my guys where to go on the battlefield. So basically all I can do is just have stand there and do nothing while the enemy destroy's my army. So all my battles have to be simulated. I don't know if it's a bug or what but apparently it looks like I'm the only one that it happens too.

Thanks for your purchase of Empire Total War.

The basic commands in this game are left click to select a unit and right-click (or secondary click) the place on the map where you want them to move or attack. You can view or change the way that a right click is performed via your Mac's System Preferences > Trackpad / Mouse settings.

Greatest Strategy Game Ever... but

To begin with, the purpose of the game is incredible. Governing a sovereign nation through the in and outs of the all-encompassing political sphere.

The ability to strategize in trade, diplomacy, endless military tactics (sea and land), and internal social development is unmatched by any game.
The gameplay is nuanced yet immersive and intuitively appropriate. The design of battle scenarios very rich in depthness.

Amazing game, the depthness and historical and strategic logic makes one feel like they are playing a Sovereign Simulatior similar to the classic Flight Simulator computer game.

There is only one issue, and that is of a bug in Road to Independence that has been commented on before by other users...I appreaciate your attention to the matter. It goes as follows:

At the conclusion of conquering the last necessary territory in Road to Independence, a nice little video (greath depth, again) of the concluding arch. You then receive a message congratulating the accomplishement. Not a couple of seconds later, without clicking on the Check confirming the receipt of message, the screen shifts back to the game's home screen.

Honestly, greatest game I have ever played. I am a huge fan of the Total War series gameplay, but the contexts of the time period in this one is unmatch.

Just please fix the bug--it would make this game Perfect.

Thanks for your purchase of Empire Total War.

After the completion of this Episode you will see a short movie about the formation of the United States. This indicates the end of the Road to Independence campaign; returning to the Main Menu is the expected behaviour. You can now choose to start a campaign game as the United States by reentering the Road to Independence campaign and choosing United States from the right side of the screen.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you require any further assistance via support@feralinteractive.com

Great game but having trouble loading in my progress

This game is amazing first off. I love the time period its set in and I love how I can change history by conquering new territories that were not in the possesion of that nation at the time. I dont know if other MacBook Air user have the same problem but when playing the british Empire I had gained control of the Thirteen colonies and some french territories. After that happended I saved my game and now when I load in my saved progress my game breaks. If you are going to update this game with fixes I would hope that would one one of the things you fix. AWESOME GAME non the less.
