Subterran. bar from the Milk & Honey team. Through Cortlandt Alley, down an iron stair; the approach is as fun as it gets. Live music, plaster walls & candle-lit ambience feels like Midnight in Paris

Sexy, charming and expensive...and definitely worth a visit. Piece it in with other below-street-level place or two nearby for a date night.

Live jazz starts 930 every night, takes reservations, can also put your name on a virtual wait list

Lots of fun and very civilized. Excellent cocktails with live music.

Basement speakeasy with solid drinks. The live music wasn't what I expected (I thought more Blues/smooth jazz, but it was an accordion...). Service was good.
