"英雄広場。マジャル人によるハンガリー建国１０００年を記念して１８９６年に造られた広場。中央にそびえ立つのは、高さ３５ｍの建国記念塔、その頂上には大天使ガブリエル、台座にはマジャル人の７部族の長、列柱には歴代の王や貴族の像１４対が飾られている。列柱の像は向かって左端が初代国王のイシュトヴァーンで、左端から９番目がマーチャーシュ王。各像の下には各人を主人公にした歴史上のレリーフがある。"
