The Wonder exhibit is fantastic: a collection of full-room installations in a variety of media, including preserved insects! Must be seen to be believed.
No matter what the exhibit on display this is a must see. The displays are unique and really impressive. Museum is on the smaller side, but admission is free. Right across from the White House.
I have been going to Washington for 40 years and just visited for the first time. What a great place to visit with so many interesting exhibits! Definitely will go back again!
The permanent exhibits are truly a spectacular display of American creativity and fine artistry from a variety of styles and medium. An excellent @Smithsonian collection
