With the growth of Apple, we have built new opportunities for individuals to work on the most exciting new products introduced by Apple. We are seeking individuals who meet the following criteria to join us. This position will require frequent traveling to the manufacturing site and working closely with the various engineers to support the needs of the operational team.
Description
Identify and develop test and calibration solutions that span across the end-to-end supply chains to achieve world-class operational efficiencies
Collaborate with both internal and external partners in enabling test solutions including hardware, software, processes, and infrastructure
Define test and calibration strategy, roadmap, and supporting infrastructure and systems that are efficient, robust, and flexible to be deployed to a wide range of products
Work hand-in-hand with counterparts at the manufacturing sites to ensure the successful rollout of new test and calibration solutions
Continuous improvements of solutions and processes through monitoring, and analysis of manufacturing information to identify opportunities for optimization
Failure analysis supports design teams, including planning/developing and implementing DOE [Design of Experiment] to root cause issues and make recommendations for test coverage or tester design changes.
Improve product quality by tracking/closing test gaps and correlation issues across the supply chain during the development stage.
Assessment of contract manufacturers' resource & technical capabilities and to collaboration with CMs' management teams for improvement and support.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Eng/B.S or equivalent experience in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Proven knowledge and experience in Sensing (Optical/Motion etc) product development and manufacturing cycle
- More than 3 Years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment
- Solid engineering analytical skills that can be applied to technical assessments on issues debug and assessments
- Experience in development of tools and systems through one or more relevant programming or scripting languages (C, C++, Python)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
- Proven track record of working independently and delivering high-quality solutions within tight schedules.

- Familiar with the application of Machine Learning and statistical knowledge and tools to drive failure analysis, and solutions, and enable supply chain End-End optimization
- Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn and talk about new technologies along with a positive and enthusiastic engagement style
- Ability to break down sophisticated problems and evaluate tradeoffs between proposed solutions
- Experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and or knowledge of basic concepts is a plus
