We're the Product Systems Quality team, and we are looking for a highly motivated engineer with excellent problem-solving skills. We're responsible for driving the quality of display technologies and user experience across Apple products. You will define and build tests at every layer of the display stack. You’ll use your technical expertise to solve the most meaningful problems at the intersection of hardware and software. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver best-in-class display features for our customers! Description

In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will: - Design and run automated tests to verify the design of SoC & SW display pipeline blocks - Design and run automated tests to validate the end-to-end display user experience - Develop automation tools and frameworks to scale test operations - Identify and prioritize key issues using objective, numerical assessments of user impact - Partner with silicon, hardware, and software teams to drive key issues to closure - Leverage crisp data to influence product quality decisions and champion the customer experience in every phase of the development process

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years in a test development or test engineering role or equivalent experience developing SW test automation, tools, frameworks
  • Experience developing in Python or Swift or Objective-C and familiar with databases, SQL and scripting languages

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience testing embedded software
  • Design and development experience using object oriented programming
  • Experience building large-scale test automation, CI/CD pipelines with deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub
  • Experience leading/managing projects and teams
  • Knowledge of modern display technologies (OLED, miniLED, etc.)
  • Knowledge of color science concepts
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
