Description

Our team is looking for a Java software engineer to join our group. In this role you will be responsible for developing and expanding a platform and related tools where emerging artists gain insights and build their music careers. Responsibilities of the role include: * understanding of the existing system to a complete depth * coding to a high and consistent standard, that you will help form * contribution with innovation and ideas to engineering discussions * helping the team improve the future architecture of the system * debugging and troubleshooting of distributed applications * excellent communication skills, and coordination with the internal engineering teams and external vendors

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of experience in building, maintaining, and debugging software
  • Programming in Java or other Object Oriented language
  • Experience designing and architecting distributed systems

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platforms such as cloud infrastructure, orchestration and messaging systems
  • Experience with Spring Boot or equivalent framework
  • A solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data caching
  • Familiarity with software testing and openness to gain more expertise
  • Open to working across multiple timezones and geographies
