We are seeking for an individual who will be responsible for all Apple product regulatory compliance activities in Indonesia. The candidate will work together with a team of highly skilled project managers, test engineers and developers – both local and remote. The candidate needs to creatively work out the certification requirements, test plans, tracking for new technologies, new product categories, new regulations. The candidate needs to have strong influence in Indonesia regulation and standardization, especially dealing with KOMINFO, and other Indonesia ministry departments like MOI, MOT, etc. The candidate needs to have strong wireless knowledge in BT/WLAN/NFC/UWB/WPT/GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G.
Description
• Manage the internal cross function team to complete product testing and certification for NPI and legacy products.
• Generate test and certification plan for new technologies and new product categories.
• Perform and debug RF/EMC/SAR certification test in country.
• Perform and obtain regulatory compliance certifications in Indonesia on time on target.
• Attend RF/EMC/OTA/SAR etc. regulatory compliance standard meeting.
• Tracking regulatory compliance requirement at Indonesia, including label, manual and RF test spec update, or any regulatory update or release related to Apple products.
• Work with test lab and government officials/regulators to influence, improve the regulatory approval process and lead time.
• Work with government officials/regulators to influence standards and regulations in Apple’s favor, especially for new technologies.
• Attend regulator meeting/workshop to understand the latest trend and lobby for Apple requirement if any to push for Apple’s favor
• Manage the market surveillance activity and audit.
• Proactively communicate internally across teams on new updates/release/regulation and etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree EE/CE required; MS/PH.D preferred.
- Strong relationship with Indonesia regulators, like KOMINFO etc.
- 5+ years of Regulatory compliance engineer experience.
- Solid planning and excellent communication skills.

- Abilities to work in cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
- Self-motivated.
- Native or accredited fluency in Indonesian to support the Indonesia-speaking market.
