As a member of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will work closely with Apple’s engineering, operations, government affairs and marketing teams, as well as with other teams in Apple Legal. With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support needed for Apple to continue to build cutting-edge technologies.
Description
You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who advise Apple’s engineering, business and government affairs teams on complex regulatory issues. You will analyze the applicability of digital regulations to various Apple products and services, manage and coordinate the internal workstreams within Apple Legal and interact with important stakeholders such as European Commission and other regulators. Your focus will be on the Artificial Intelligence Act and the Data Act The work requires outside-the-box thinking, versatility, and creative approaches to legal issues. You will collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs and cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies. Location can be discussed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience on regulatory matters, such as privacy/data laws, AI laws and other digital regulations at major law firm, in-house or regulatory authority.
- Experience interpreting privacy/data laws, AI laws and other European regulations is a plus.
