As an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) in the New Technology organization, you will be responsible for leading the development builds of key modules (Display, Touch, Camera, etc.). Your primary objectives will be ensuring that modules are built to specifications and shipped on schedule. DESCRIPTION
You will collaborate closely with both in-region team and US-based EPM, as well as with cross functional DRIs, contract manufacturing and vendor partners. Your primary focus will be on managing engineering builds, qualification, risks and issue resolution throughout our engineering development cycles to ensure timely delivery of exceptional Apple products.
- Lead cross-functional communication between Apple internal project teams and external vendors
- Work with Engineering Management and vendors to define, plan, track, communicate, and escalate as necessary
- Enable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between Apple teams and external vendors
- Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management
- Facilitate good communication and provide multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management
- Drive day-to-day engineering build activities at the vendor’s factory to meet overall program objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of experience (with a minimum of 5 years in engineering development or engineering program management)
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Physics, etc.)
- General knowledge of product development life cycle (Proto, EVT, DVT, etc.)
- Program Management Experience
- English Fluency a must for both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel (60-70%)

- Familiarity with technical risk assessment reviews
- Proficient in writing status reports and technical review summaries
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving
- Effective status tracking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with cross-functional team and Vendors to achieve project goals
- Camera or Display technical skills (beneficial to have)
- Understanding of general industrial manufacturing processes (e.g. TFT/OLED process, Assembly, Testing, IQC/OQC, etc.)
- Extraordinary leadership and excellent interpersonal skills
- Operations experience in a manufacturing environment
