Here on Apple’s Canadian Sales Finance team, our team plays an integral role in ensuring Apple's day-to-day financial health. We partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing and other Finance teams to run critical business initiatives and find value for both Apple and its shareholders. We support Apple’s growth, both top and bottom line and apply the same innovative approach towards financial matters as we do towards our services and products. We have an exciting opportunity for a senior financial analyst to support the performance of Apple’s products and services within our Carrier and Institutional sales channel. This role is responsible for advising business partners with financial guidance on how to optimally drive revenue growth within the telecommunications sector. Description
Build and lead critical business initiatives while collaborating extensively with other Apple functional, geographical and global teams to ensure that Canada is exceeding overall corporate strategy and goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
Structure demand generation activities and set investment parameters for programs.
Challenge, influence, and build forecasts for our products to ensure Apple can meet customer needs.
Deeply understand industry trends, partner dynamics, demand generation program performance, and competitive landscape by running analytics to uncover market insights, and advise sales teams on actions needed to influence product and channel performance.
Provide finance controllership and risk management, ensuring investments meet meticulous financial metrics; review financial controls and lead governance, including quarter-end spend, and accruals, and compensation plans.
Manage channel terms, ensuring optimization and compliance of contractual margin investments.
Liaise with the WW Sales Finance teams, sharing geo-specific market insight, advocating for geo-led proposals, and contributing to Sales Finance processes and tools.
Assemble financial analysis and actively contribute to building quarterly and annual business reviews with Sales leadership.
Work on special projects as assigned, including initiatives to drive ongoing optimization of processes, systems, and financial governance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years commercial finance experience.
- College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field.

- Experience in the telecom and wireless industry supporting device management programs.
- Strong team collaborator with the capacity for developing relationships and quickly becoming a trusted business partner who can influence effectively and challenge the status quo.
- Proven ability to problem solve ambiguous situations using sophisticated, non-linear, and occasionally incomplete data.
- Experience building business models and forecasts.
- Impeccable organization skills with the ability to run multiple, contending priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
- An innovative approach, with a high level of inherent curiosity, investing in personal knowledge to stay ahead of the curve in the industry.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Expert-level knowledge of Excel.
- Proficiency with Keynote, Business Objects, SQL, Tableau, and Slack.
