Apple is seeking a Wireless Research Scientist for the Human Engineering team to integrate RF/wireless technology expertise into the design and development of Apple’s wireless products. The role involves supporting product development phases focused on wireless connectivity and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Antenna Design, RF Design, Human Factors, validation, and more. Description
Design research studies and test methodologies for RF/wireless product development.
Collaborate with the team to plan and execute data collection efforts.
Develop scripts for analyzing and visualizing RF/wireless data.
Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional design teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong background in RF/Wireless communication.
- Proficient in data processing and visualization using Python, R, or similar.
- Skilled in designing and managing research plans and delivering outcomes.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience, with a focus on wireless communication systems or signal processing.
- Experience developing data pipelines and visualization dashboards.
- Research experience in human-centered studies and audio perception.
- Experience with sensing/wireless/RF applications in embedded systems.
- Strong statistical skills for hypothesis testing and analysis.
