iPad System EE Intern

The iPad System EE team is seeking an enthusiastic intern to work with us on EE development and debug for iPad development.
Candidates with EE or CS related major is the requirement, especially the experience of involving in Hardware development projects or embedded system projects, and it would be a good plus if the candidate have good experience on SW or scripting language development.
Description
- Hardware Bring up and Debug: Bring up some new PCB boards with ARM processor or circuits on them, test the functions with Firmware and Software, if any issue will use equipments for troubleshooting and debugging.
- Hardware Validation and Testing: Develop test plan against spec to validate new HW design and circuits, design test sequence and flow to stress the HW, teamwork with cross functional team to perform system level testing.
- Hardware Validation Scripting: Write scripts for automated hardware tests to validate physical devices and ensure their adherence to testing requirements.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis skills to generate reports on test results, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test scripts, automation processes, and project deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-graduate or under-graduate school on EE or CS major or related
- Good EE knowledge and familiar with some HW platforms
- Excellent hands on capability on HW bring up, failure analysis and debug
- Good oral and written English

Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding about computer architecture, such as MCU, ARM or X86 platform
- Familiar with programming languages, C/C++, Python, Shell, Swift etc
- Interested in cutting edge technology and willing to try new things
- Team player that can work closely with the team members
- 6 months on-site internship commitment is preferred, with a starting no later than March 2025
