The Business Programs Manager is responsible for oversight, co-ordination and execution of key business growth initiatives for Apple in South Asia. Through a deep understanding of the region’s channel, product and consumer landscape, the Business Programs Manager will ensure delivery of programs that stimulate demand across Apple’s product lines and improve the capability of country sales teams in support of Apple’s business growth objectives.

Description

- Analysis and identification of short and medium term risks and opportunities for country and regional performance. Oversight, co-ordination and execution of plans to improve business performance in conjunction with key country and regional teams. - Development of management tools to support capability and efficiency improvements within country teams. These tools include reports, analysis, insights, processes and templates. - Oversight, co-ordination and execution of business growth initiatives requiring specific capabilities that may not be present in country teams, or may be more efficiently developed centrally for multiple markets. This includes evolving food chain models, new ownership and financing constructs, channel expansion initiatives and more. - Maintain centralized engagement and representation for South Asia with key worldwide teams. Improve calibration of worldwide and local plans, manage strategic responses where required, and facilitate the usage of worldwide insights and strategies that are relevant for South Asia. - Synthesize and simplify complex problems, design structured recommendations, create and present effective storyline to Sales and cross functional leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen, excellent analytical & business modeling skills.
  • Ability to perform both internal/external commercial analysis, emerging market trend, and landscape data to identify areas of opportunity to drive business growth

  • Understanding of Apple’s decision making processes and structures – including sales, finance, operations, marketing and legal. Ability to navigate these structures to ensure effective decisions are made to support sales growth.
  • Understanding of lead indicators and drivers – identifying emerging risks and opportunities and implications / recommendations for Apple
  • Awareness of local channel structure, emerging trends, and competitor’s activities in key South Asia markets. Ability to create and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Strong business planning capabilities. Ability to work within, and design processes that lead to the development of innovative and commercially driven country plans.
  • Highly skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Highly developed analytical and communication skills.
  • Thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments, highly adaptable to stakeholder’s business priorities.
  • Problem solver by nature — exceptional skills in synthesizing and simplifying complex problems, and creating programmatic approach recommendations.
