The Apple Service Engineering team is looking for a Senior Compliance Leader for our EU market with understanding of EU regulations and standards, strong senior presence and leadership capabilities, technical curiosity and strong understanding of project and product management cycles. As one of the early leadership hires into this site, you will also play a role in building the culture and contribute to its success over time.
Description
Work closely with legal, compliance and government affairs teams across Apple, remaining up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements relevant for ASE infrastructure and services
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to assess ASE infrastructure and applications against new laws, regulations and policies, and develop implementation plans to meet compliance requirements
Participate in the development of new Apple policies to support our compliance work and implement relevant processes and procedures
Create requirements for tooling and automation to support ongoing compliance operations
Respond to regulatory inquiries in collaboration with Legal and engineering teams
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate compliance best practices into design and development processes
Serve as the liaison between the EU compliance team and the global ASE Compliance organisation ensuring that the EU team’s compliance objectives and needs are aligned with broader organisational goals
Contribute to strategic planning and the overall growth and scaling of the ASE compliance organization as well as the Dublin site, helping to define long-term vision, roadmaps, goals and expansion
Minimum Qualifications
- Compliance and/or engineering experience
- Strong familiarity with EU laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to the areas of data handling, privacy, security and financial/tax
- Experience translating legal and compliance requirements into engineering requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of Apple
