The Employee & Labour Relations team are a globally connected team, passionate about caring for our employees and enhancing the experience of our diverse global workforce. Description
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between leadership and Works Councils, ensuring compliance with German labor laws and fostering a productive partnership.
• Support labor relations initiatives, including Works Council negotiations, by working with key partners to align on business priorities and compliance needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex and sensitive employee relations (ER) issues.
• Lead and manage cases on critical cultural topics, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
• Coach leaders through ER situations, enhancing their skills and confidence via tailored coaching sessions and delivery of training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in a business partnering capacity, preferably in employee and labor relations.
- High proficiency understanding the employment legal frameworks, including German labor laws and Works Council processes.
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workstreams effectively.
- Fluency is English and German language

- Proven experience of influencing and negotiation skills, particularly with external partners like Works Councils.
- Passionate about building and maintaining positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenging people-related issues in collaboration with managers and the People team.
- Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, concise writing, and engaging presentations.
- Proven understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices, especially in Germany.
- High levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
