Vehicle Emissions Laboratories of the Joint Research Centre (JRC)

Vehicle Emissions Laboratories

Facilities to conduct emissions tests (including the measurement of evaporative emissions) on a variety of vehicles.

In the workshop, the vehicles are prepared for both the tests in the laboratory and on-road, as well as by a soak area where the vehicles are conditioned at specific temperatures as required by the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure.

Vehicle Laboratory Market Surveillance

The JRC’s Vehicle Laboratory Market Surveillance facilities provide the possibility to conduct emissions tests, including the measurement of evaporative emissions, on a variety of vehicles.
