Understanding policy coherence

This section shows the policy coherence of EU policy initiatives in relation to the SDG framework. Choose a Goal to display the connections between the chosen Goals' targets and other SDG targets based on the number of EU policy initiatives that mutually address them. The thickness of the lines corresponds to the number of interactions among EU policy activities (see number of connected EU policies by hovering over a specific line). Clicking on a particular line generates a list of the overlapping EU policy activities (displayed in a table on the left).

These interlinkages can help policymakers understand the connections between different EU policy actions and their implications across the SDG framework.

They also help better understand the interlinkages between various SDG targets that need to be considered in the policy design and implementation process.
