About the Board
The Student Library Advisory Board (SLAB) was created to establish an ongoing, open dialog between Temple University students and the University Libraries staff and administration. The board is an opportunity for Temple students to participate in the development of library services and spaces and to ensure that the library meets the needs of Temple’s student body.
The board is composed of undergraduate and graduate students who represent the various opinions and concerns of the student body regarding the libraries. Student members are expected to be well-informed on University issues and to represent their personal views, as well as those that represent the wider campus voices.
The board is made up of 6 students and is convened by the Director for Planning, Strategy and Organizational Evolution, the Library Facilities Superintendent, and the Head of Access Services.
