We are happy to announce the July ocean data product release and a major update; Sentinel-6A data is now being ingested into the Copernicus Marine catalogue and this will improve over half of the entire portfolio. As the new reference altimetry mission, the Copernicus Sentinel-6A satellite is key to monitoring global sea level rise, critical to helping mitigate the impacts of climate change and protect vulnerable communities. The July product release includes a significant update to the satellite ocean colour portfolio, and a reorganisation designed to enhance overall usability of the catalogue.
All these events are important for raising awareness on ocean issues and to help users at all levels to get the training they need to make the most out of the data and resources available, which is free and open. Event and training materials are recorded and available on our website (e-learning materials) as well as our Youtube channel.
