Chet “The Jet” Davis came to Morgan in 1969 from Newark, N.J. He was an immediate impact player on the Morgan Varsity Basketball team his freshman season. He played four years of varsity basketball and finished his career with 1,501 total points, placing him 5th all-time on the leading scorers list.
