Isiah “Ted” Oliver Isiah Oliver, a native Coatesville, Pennsylvania, attended Coatesville High School. He entered Morgan State in 1928, graduating in 1932.

While at Morgan “Ted” ran track and played football. His most notable honors were received in football, as a guard. He was selected All CIAA in that sport and was a member of the championship teams of 1930, ’32 and ’33. His campus activities included his being elected president of the freshman class, 1928-29, and membership in the science club. He also served as manager of the Varsity Basketball teams of 1931 and ’32.

Isiah’s post graduate activities are many. He is a delegate for he NAACP; a member of the city Youth Recreation Committee; secretary of the King David Lodge #7, AM & FM; an active participant in the activities of Clair Memorial Methodist Church, holding several positions; captain of the financial drive to build a colored YMCA and treasurer for the Paramount Democratic Club.
