Reggie Holmes was named the MEAC Player of the Year in 2010 and was a two-time First Team All-MEAC honoree in 2009 and 2010 during his junior and senior seasons. He helped lead the Bears to three MEAC regular season championships, in addition to two MEAC titles and NCAA Tournament appearances -- the first in Morgan's Division I basketball history. His accomplishments did not stop there, he was named All-MEAC First Team All-MEAC in 2009 and 2010. The Associated Press named him as an All-American in 2009 and 2010. Holmes also finished his career as Morgan's All-Time leading scorer with 2,051 points (ranks No. 5 in MEAC) in 133 games played. He also ranks No. 2 in the MEAC in 3-point field goals made (308) and No. 4 in free throws made (514). He was named to the MEAC 50th Anniversary Basketball Team and most recently will be inducted into the 2023 Morgan State Hall of Fame.

Following his tenure at Morgan, Reggie had an expansive professional career overseas for 10 years.
