Reginald Holt attended Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He enrolled in Morgan in 1956 and graduated in 1960.Â
"Reggie" was considered the most consistent and dedicated swimmer during his tenure at Morgan. He was a leader and had the distinction of being recognized as the best swimmer ever graduated from Douglass High School. During his swimming days at Morgan, "Reggie" set many new CIAA records. He was the best in the 200 Butterfly, the 200 Backstroke and the 200 yard Medley.
In 1958 "Reggie" was rated the most outstanding swimmer in the CIAA. He repeated his top ratings in 1959 and in 1960. in 1959 he elected as captain of of the Swimming Team. "Reggie's" swimming techniques and speed in the water events were an unbeatable combination, as many of his opponents learned in competing with him.
"Reggie" was an honor student during his four years at Morgan. He was awarded the Distinguished Military Graduate Award and the Superior Cadet Award. He was a member of the Physical Education club.Â
While in the service, Reggie swam on the Forth U.S Army Swimming Team.
"Reggie" earned his law degree at Howard University in 1973 ans was elected to the bar in the District of Columbia. he is currently working with a reputable law firm in Washington.Â
"Reggie" is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and an active member of the "M" Club. He is married and resides in Washington, D.C.
