Robert Berry was born in Terrytown, N.Y. After graduating form North Terrytown High School he entered Morgan in 1954 and graduated in 1958. 

"Bob" participated on the Track and Cross Country teams. His athletic accomplishments include being undefeated in Cross Country competition during his tenure on the team. 

He was also All-Eastern Mile champion in 1956 and 1957 (indoor), a member of the 2 mile relay team that placed 4th in 1956 and 2nd in 1957 at Penn Relays. In 1956-1957 he was a member of the All-Eastern 2 mile relay championship team and in 1957-58 was the mile and 2 mile C.I.A.A. champion. 

Bob resides in Terrytown where he is a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and is a member of the side by side Wheelchair organization. He previously worked as a recreation instructor at the Maryland Training School for Boys. 

Currently resides in Rosedale, Maryland.
