That was CHAOTIC if I had to pick a word. Wouldn't be CSM otherwise.

Still no actual date? Can't give less a shit about the female characters, so my curiosity and hype levels remain medium.

Hopefully this time the animators will work hard, do a proper job and listen to the hardworking management of MAPPA

@deg aside from the previous director (Nakayama) everyone needed for the movie is back from the S1 cour staff,
Heck they even got better with the addition of HoneHone as an Action AD, Lington

Glad to see Yoshihara get this promotion after his animation and directing/storyboarding work on S1. This teaser was awesome and we have never been so back.

Yoshihara cinema incoming yet again after those gorgeous action scenes in episode 4 and 10 of csm s1.

Hope it's not too far in 2025!

It's things like this that make me thankful for animation as a whole.

We WILL be there day one.

glad to alive, this looks amazing. i would've had a global level crash-out if it looked significantly different compared to s1, but thankfully it doesn't.

@DatRandomDude ok but there is no guarantee the old main staff from the tv will come back right?

Dec 21, 2024 9:07 PM by deg

@deg tbf, when we say new, we mean new in these specific roles.

A lot of these worked on the Chainsaw Man TV anime but in other roles.

Dec 21, 2024 9:04 PM by DatRandomDude

also the main staff holy shit almost everyone is new

mappa fired most old staff lol but then a lot of main staff changes between anime sequels anyway but that usually means lower quality though unlike this one

The animation style in action scenes feels a lot rougher and more chaotic than Season 1. It almost looks like Mob Psycho. Which is a good thing, in my eyes.

@Softhenic03 S2 isn't coming out before 2027.

THE BEST ARC GOT THE BEST ADAPTATION. Tatsuya Yoshihara is one of the best action directors you could have asked for. Mappa sure knows how to put a trailer together, cause holy HYPE. Too bad I have to wait until 2026 to see it on the streaming service PAIN.

Fire teaser.

All I'm hoping is for this to air pretty early next year, so the second season could come by 2026, at least.

ohmygod im so happy, im especially happy since the black clover director is taking over and black clover holds a special place in my heart. also the new art style looks dope!!!

ABSOLUTE CINEMA🔥
Tatsuya Yoshihara... amazing 🧎

Dec 21, 2024 8:25 PM by asmita_san

Let's gooo !!!! I am soo hyped. Although the director is different but from what I can see their isn't any significant changes in the art style unlike Jujutsu Kaisen. I am glad that's the case because I really liked S1 art style a lot.
