'Isshun de Chiryou shiteita noni Yakutatazu to Tsuihou sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer toshite Tanoshiku Ikiru' Unveils Additional Cast, Second Teaser Promo
The GA Fes 2025 event revealed three additional cast, a key visual (pictured), and second teaser promo for the television anime adaptation of Sakaku Hishikawa's Isshun de Chiryou shiteita noni Yakutatazu to Tsuihou sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer toshite Tanoshiku Ikiru (The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows) light novel on Saturday. Zophia: Anna Nagase (Isekai Suicide Squad)
Lynga: Mashiro Hitaka
Loewe: Sayaka Kikuchi (Ningen Fushin no Boukensha-tachi ga Sekai wo Sukuu you desu)
Jou Yoshizaki (Chiikawa episode director) is helming the anime at Makaria, with Daishou Miyagi penning the script. Denpuougi and Yoshihiro Sawada are designing the characters. Harumi Fuuki (Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei) is composing the music.
Hishikawa began writing the adventure fantasy series, also known by its short title Yami Healer, on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2020. SB Creative began printing the novel under its GA Novel label the following October, featuring illustrations by Daburyuu. The seventh volume went on sale on November 15.
A manga adaptation by Ten Junoichi began on the GA Comic website in January 2022. The fourth volume also went on sale on November 15.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation for digital release in English in September 2023 and published the second manga volume on March 20. The fifth novel volume was released on December 20.
