Very good. Armstrong Eco Systems did an excellent job of installation. Controlling the system is straightforward. The high temperature heat pump has kept us comfortable over the cold spell this winter and meant that there was no need for replacement radiators or hot water tank.
Highly recommended.

Installer has checked everything an fault appears to be with sleepy Daikin who can't quite bring themselves to care about it and would rather just have a form filled out. There's plenty of other heat pump brands who at least pretend to care.

Registration nightmare ?
I've given a 4 star as the Daikin ASHP is near perfect - but registering a product for UK address is near enough impossible (on both a PC or ios), as it doesn't like 7 digit postcodes or house names.

Very happy that the engineer got my heating working again. He was polite helpful and efficient. But he did say my system needed a new part and he would return to fit it. This was many weeks ago. The system has turned itself off twice again due to low water pressure, I am thinking the part needed is involved in this maybe!

Efficient & quiet
The pump is quieter when running and electricity usage lower than we expected. We are currently in winter, saving about £40/month compared to the solid fuel based system which was replaced. We did experience some difficulty initially setting up the heating schedule. With extra insulation added to the house prior to installation, the house keeps consistently warm.

Not very controllable
The heat pump unit was chosen by the installers. It looks ok in my garden, quite a sleek, modern design compared to some I’ve seen in other people’s gardens. However, it’s like living with a naughty child. It just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. The schedule is set to fit in with the tariff I’m on but it comes on and off when it likes, meaning I’m paying more than I should be. The temperature on the thermostat bares no relation to the warmth in the house and it rarely goes over 20* even when it’s set to 21*+ The hot water is set to heat up between 4-6am when the price per kWh is at it’s cheapest but it often does it between 00.00-2.00am when the rate is double that.

Problems with the mobile app.
I have got the on-the wall unit to work fine and the heating system is very good - however I also loaded the mobiie version of the app on my phone . At fist this was fine but then it ceased to function/ I hace tried to reload the app without success.

Installation and Design Errors. Some never fixed.
I have a Daikin System installed in a new build property, now over 6 months old. We get heat and hot water so 2 stars not 1. BUT, the system had numerous installation faults and didn't work for the first couple of weeks. There were also numerous incorrect system settings leading to poor system efficiency. These are now fixed but the system still has a defect in the design in relation to the control of the heating pump and a has developed a faulty indoor controller (since October). I conducted a system analysis and provided information to Daikin who acknowledge the problems and say they will modify the system to rectify the design error, but it never happens. The builder and their installer are equally in the dark and frustrated. I have held off answering this review request as I was expecting Daikin to get a grip and sort things out, but alas nothing is happening.
