Unfortunately Pedleys Solar
Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that Brisbane Battery Storage was formerly Pedleys Solar.
I engaged Pedleys to install solar at my property for just under $20k. They damaged a brand new roof by dragging panels and dropping a ladder and tools. Then the solar itself did not work. So as I purchased on interest free and refused to say the job was complete they returned over a dozen times to try and fix it.
I worked with them as best I could but in the end it was pointless trying to fix it. I also had a rude installer from day one. Also initially delivered and installed wrong products.
This month (July, 2021) I receive an email and mistook the business as one I had recently emailed for a quote.
They sent out a cash price ‘deal’ email and we’re sending messages back instantly. Until I signed the contract. Then radio silence occurred.
I still have not heard back from anyone for weeks despite emails, texts and calls.
The product is on my roof but unsure if it works properly until Energex do what they have to do.
I would never have engaged them if I knew.
I do not hear back now about anything!! A quick google shows how all the warranty claims against Pedleys have not been responded to either since the name change.
Please consider this!! What if in 2-3 years the name changes again and your installer doesn’t respond to warranty claims??
