I was able get an idea plus had several good contractors reach out (on a Sunday)! I know, crazy right? I've met a few of them and will make a decision shortly. Thanks again for a wonderful website!

I happen to be burning the midnight oil…
I happen to be burning the midnight oil and the FIXR ad came about while I was looking at home improvement things. I completed the quick and simple intake form and got a call from a reputable local contractor the next day. They came out the very next day and made me knowledgeable of all the things I needed for my house project. It was the best contractor experience I’ve had since owning a home. No cap! We sealed the deal that same day. Therefore the FIXR site is great and I’ll definitely use again.

Guys came out within a day to give me a quote. The guys that came out were great and very knowledgeable. However, I wish the website could’ve just given it to me online instead of having guys come out and spending 2 hours with me.

Bad Advertising Site for Contractors
We use a lot of advertising platforms and no other site currently has the requirements or flaws this site has. This is so 2010!!!
Here is a quick summary of how this platform works for a contractor.
-Spend a lot of money up front on an unproven advertising product
-Be told that your leads are going to be exclusive but find out that 6 other contractors are making calls at the same time as us
-Be told that about 40 leads are given per month in the 5 counties you work in but for some reason we have only received 8 plus
-Have your phone on speed dial for when the call comes in you and get to it in time and pray like heck that you win the lottery of the customer answering your call.
-If you miss the call and return it within 5 minutes, you are then to late and the customer will not answer because they had so many others reach out to them

The solar panel estimator was easy to use and even linked to an overhead view of my house when I submitted my address. The only thing that I didn’t care for was linking my name and contact information with solar companies as I was only doing initial research. After using the site I was contacted by no less than five companies selling their service. That may be perfect for someone already intent on getting solar installation, but for someone like me in the beginning stages of research, it was a little much. Again, the site and estimator were excellent and easy to use.
