I have found that if one has any query or question, or experiences any difficulty in any way, David and his Team are very vigilant in being of as much assistance or help as what is needed. I, in my
dealings with David, have had personal experience of this very thing, twice now. Many thanks to David.

Had to chase re delayed delivery. Ultimately discovered order had not been placed with supplier. Had to followup to expedite customs release then incorrectly received invoice for this. Too many slipups to have confidence going forward. Slow delivery times introduces counter-party risk in uncertain times

Big shout out to the team at Gold Survival Guide, especially David for great conversations and service. Will definitely be using again. Highly recommended

There was some difficulties to receive a parcel with my coins bought in New Zealand. I sent it to another country and we failed to let them understand that it was my own property. David bent over backwards to assist with the whole process to get customs to release it on the other side, as well as the courier company that handled the parcel to release it to me personally. I am very impressed with how he continued to protect my assets in a professional way.

GOOD AS IT'S PRODUCT? Maybe Not Quite.

Gold Survival Guide is an information sheet with links to buy and sell physical Gold and Silver. This guide is heavily reliant on graphs to predict what future movements of these precious metals may be.
With a spread of about 8% between purchase and sale price, buying precious metals for profit is not really an option for the short term investor.
Consequently the Guide relies heavily on peoples fear of Currency Collapse, Bank Failiures - these kinds of things.
Too many articles are copied from Doomster websites looking to make money out of peoples fears. Strange and dodgy bedfellows.
Google "Jim Rickards Scam or Legit?" if you want to know what I mean.

I should declare an interest. Having held physical Gold for about four years until May 2018, I count myself very lucky to have sold and made a small profit. To sell now I would take a loss.

Short of major disaster you could buy paper gold far more conveniently.
But the yellow stuff IS good to look at!

Thanks very much for taking the time to share your thoughts. We would agree that buying physical gold and silver is not ideal for a short term investor. We've often recommended against people buying if they have a short term horizon of only months. You may have missed many of the articles we've written in recent months covering all sorts of topics like what type of gold and silver to buy, reasons to buy, where to store. https://goldsurvivalguide.co.nz/gold-silver-blog/ We actually publish very few articles from other websites these days. We'd also agree that you could buy paper gold more easily. However we always say the main reason to buy physical gold is for financial insurance. Paper gold always involves a counter-party that you rely upon to remain solvent. So that negates what is likely the main reason to own gold - the lack of counter-party risk in a world where every other financial asset has counter-party risk.

Thanks again for leaving your feedback. We appreciate the chance to hear areas where we can improve.
