I got myself into a very difficult password problem and was locked out at an urgent moment. iwantmyname support were very calm and patient. First of all they made really sure I wasn't a scammer and when they were quite sure they guided me through a secure way to reset my login password. Very supportive and very reassuring!

Very straight forward process to check and select and domain. Same goes for billing, payment etc.,
However, customer support (provided by R.A. in this instance) was completely sub-par. While no guarantee is provided that you can refund a .COM address, it may be possible to do so if no registration payment has occured - according to their company website.
R.A. completely disputed this and requested me to submit links to their own website (!) that stated the above. After I did so, R.A. told me to make sure I do not make typos, and that a refund is not guaranteed.
I received no explanation about what makes a refund possible or not possible, especially considering that both my purchase and the refund request took place during business closure (weekend).

Contacted support regarding transferring ownership of multiple domains, at one time, into my account from an outside registrar. Support got back to me ASAP, answered my questions and confirmed I had all the needed details in order. The entire ownership transfer process went smooth and unexpectedly fast.

IWantMyName.com is one of the remaining genuine registars on the web. Great service and as long as your happy with email support the team really delivers.

Fast and expert assistance. For most tasks, I find that their website is easy to navigate and straightforward. If ever something comes up that is more advanced and I don’t fully understand, they are quick to assist. I feel comfortable having my domains sitting with them.

iwantmyname has demonstrated an alarming lack of accountability. A false phishing report led to the unjust disabling of itch.io's domain. Despite being provided with a response disproving the claim, iwantmyname disregarded it and took down the site anyway. This is a clear failure to protect their clients from automated, baseless copyright claims. If your domain can be disabled without proper investigation, your trust and business are clearly at risk. Avoid at all costs!

The people at iwantmyname answer thoroughly. This takes a day or two but is understandable. Usually the service is trouble free!
This time I had a concern about an email listing changes to 2FA and I had them verify it is genuine.
I don’t trust emails with links. You guys might consider not sending them anymore and just tell people to log in and read about it.

Very responsive. I've been using iwantmyname for over 5 years now and I'm not a techie by any stretch; I just want a domain for my Fastmail email account. The price is very fair; they don't constantly raise prices or try to up-sell you on stuff you don't need. Although domain technology can be confusing to us "mere mortals," I've been able to do most everything on my own through their website. And importantly, when I have a question, their service is prompt, clear and friendly. I highly recommend iwantmyname.

I've only had good service from iwantmyname. They are quick to respond, and always helpful. That gives me peace of mind, and that's why I've been hosting my domain name with them for a good number of years. Highly recommended.

It seems they don't care about their client and are happy to turn company's off on an automated reooport.
They also don't seem to reply to emails.
Probably the worse registrar out there.
Use porkbun instead, at least they have humans that reply to emails.

I've used iwantmyname.com for several years. The site's clean and simple to use.
Recently, I forgot to cancel the auto-renew on a domain I no longer use. I got charged, realized my mistake, and contacted customer service. They were highly responsive and my cancelation / refund request was handled very quickly.

I have been using iwantmyname for about 10 years. But recently I forgot to update my credit card and then didn’t bother to check my emails going to spam for a month, I lost access to my shop! But the very quick response from iwantmyname and their excellent customer service I was back up and in business immediately. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend iwantmyname.
