From my 1st contact with Lightspeed the response like the speed of the broadband has been top speed (1 Gig). And a special mention to Paulo for sorting out our swift connection which was much appreciated as we had just moved into the property and was 1 thing less to worry about so many thanks to all involved.

I enquired to Lightspeed regarding switching from another supplier. Spoke to Paolo and he was very professional and knowledgeable, he didn’t try to force me into a package I didn’t need but went through them and recommended the best for my needs. Nothing was a problem to him. Im not going live until the end of the month so can’t comment on connection etc but if it goes as well as my conversation with Paolo then I’ll be happy. I recently changes my broadband from Talk Talk to Lightspeed and i am very pleasead with my package very fast internet at £14.99 a monrh for,12 months thn 29.99 for the 2nd 12 months. I can highly recommend lightspeed as installation was stress free and c9mpany was always on the ball with communication.
I spoke to a gentle man called fuad he was the most pleasant helpful man I have ever spoken to his voice was just so amazingly calm. Very helpful man highly recommend him

5 hours and 3 engineers later and I had…
5 hours late and 3 engineers later and I had my services. So, whilst this was definitely far from the smoothest experience these things happen. What saves this from being a lower rating, despite the obvious problems, is that I was kept updated the entire time, with multiple calls throughout the day updating me on any changes etc.

Very easy and straightforward to order, the engineer (Sunny) came and installed it, he was very pleasant and polite and explained everything whilst installing the beacon. He left everything clean and tidy afterward. The speed has dropped to just over 900mbyte but I'm sure when it settled the speed will go back to over 1gbit
Update... speed has dropped down to 480 Mbps and although I contacted them Tuesday I'm still no further in getting this solved, waited in all day Wednesday waiting for a call back that never came, I did miss a call from someone this morning but I'm still waiting 4 hours later for him call back as promised.

Fantastic service from start to finish, decided to switch after seeing such good reviews and also the speeds I could get, with having everything such data hungry and an 11 year old that streams everything day and night I took the plunge, on the day of the install, Adam arrived promptly and explained everything to me of what was involved and took the time to work out the best place for the router, the whole process from start to finish took around 3 hours and Adam left everything spotless, once installed Adam ran through test to show me the speeds I would be getting which worked out at 1.2 gig at the router and I was getting 900 +on my iPads and laptop, he suggested a Nokia mesh hub if I wanted better speeds out in the garden which I decided was a good idea, the hub was delivered the following day and was a breeze to install, I'm not getting upwards of 700 in the garden so can't complain with that, all in all a fantastic service which I personally cannot.fault

Fast and reliable broadband service
After 30 days of using the broadband, So far good experience.
The speed is consistent, even a bit higher that what is advertised, not like basic standard broadband connection (FTTC).
Engineer who connected the home was very professional and took all the safety seriously as new cables had to be run from the pole on the street to house. Only small negative is that he could of drilled the hole for the hub network cable at same level of electrical sockets, now looks a bit odd.
#Advice, If you are asked where you want the Hub, make sure you also show exactly where to drill and run the cable, obviously if possible.
Recently had good experience with customer service also, gave me detailed explanation when tried to understand the issue with the Nokia WiFi app.
Keep up with the great job guys, as you will grow bigger, I hope you keep the same high standards.

Was a bit dubious at the start
Was a bit dubious at the start. How could I go from 50mb bb, to 1g bb !! Turns out, easy actually. Lightspeed transition from BT was super simple. Their customer service is amazing. Helped with all my questions. No matter how many I asked 😉. Install was quick and professional. Had a few speed bumps along the way. But the lightspeed customer helpline was great. They fixed my issues the same day. My download speed hasn’t dropped below a 1000 mb at all. I mainly use internet for gaming, and 1g bb is perfect for this. Overall. Cannot recommend this company enough. A*.

See the review from 22nd July same experience. They fitted neighbours broadband and wire became stuck blocked a shared drive, hit an electric cable and then left in a mess the big hole. They didnt put the drive back as was and now there digging has collapsed and we are left with holes in the drive. AVOID

What a breath of fresh air Lightspeed are! Fantastic product, customer service and problem solving. Slight problem with our duct to road cable access point being blocked but soon resolved and we were up and running when they said. Speeds are great and no dips in service, slight issue connecting printer to wifi but resolved straight away by techy Chris. thoroughly recommend.
