We changed our POS system To EPOS NOW , because the company Lightspeed will deduct 1.5% from all your takings ( including cash) if you don't switch to their designated merchant. They have rehired the previous CEO, who is steering the company in a terribly aggressive and bullying direction. By the way .... Epos Now is proven to be a much easier to use system with all the features , and it is cheaper .........My advise is do not trade with the company Lightspeed .

Terrible service and over withdrawal …
If there was no start I would choose it. I have been waiting for a call from lightspeed since 2 weeks ago and no one communicated. You have a terrible service and why overdrawing from business if you can't service. I'll cancel your service as soon as I find another provider. So disappointing.

Hello, my experience with LightSpeed K series for our restaurant POS is a mixed bag if I'm honest, and being my first time setting up an entire POS system with only remote assistance (vs an onsite tech) to assist is the main difference and the reason my rating dropped to a three rather than a 4.5.
I'm no stranger to POS systems (I am to internet talk however, particularly cloud-based words and talk of servers and links) so another person may not have encountered the difficulties we did not the time lost due to it.
The shining stars of this review however are the personnel I dealt with at Lightspeed. Not the sales team, I mean the support team, Adam, our on-boarding specialist and others, Sam I believe his name was and another female tech, Angel both of whom spent at least a day if not longer on video call trouble shooting our issues, past 5pm and not once did I feel i was a burden though it was extremely burdensome imo.
Adam, who must have many clients at the one time was so involved with how we were tracking, often keeping me on track, always checking in post a 'fix' I'd asked him to cook up for me, great listener! Great teacher!
I really want to give a higher rating, read this review with a pinch of salt because I also believe we were trying to do more with the system than it was designed to do, hence mixed feelings.
I still believe for most operations the system is an ideal choice, easy to use, easy to modify, useful updates all the time and as much as I dislike 'chat' support features, these guys do it well. Thank you to our most patient and thorough lightspeed support team

Nathan helped us at Bootleg Brewery setup our Lightspeed system and was absolutely amazing. He was very patient with us as we had teething issues with our network.

I cannot recommend Adam enough as an onboarding manager! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure our onboarding process with the POS system was seamless. He was incredibly responsive, answering countless texts—from early morning and through the day—just to make sure we were fully supported and confident at every step.
Adam’s attention to detail was remarkable. He proactively reminded us to complete key tasks before dead lines occurred, and we all know how great reminders are when opening a business from the ground up. This made all the difference in our smooth transition. No question was too small or too big—he handled my 101 questions (and then some!) with patience, professionalism, and a can-do attitude.
His commitment to our success truly stood out, and I’m so grateful for his support during such a critical time. If you’re lucky enough to have Adam as your onboarding manager, rest assured you’re in the best hands!

Just switched to Lightspeed POS for my café, and it's been a total game-changer. The system is really easy to use, and it's been making everything—orders, inventory, you name it—way smoother. Shoutout to Samuel B. who helped set everything up. He was super helpful and made sure everything was just right.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. It’s definitely making life easier, and I’d definitely recommend it to other café owners!

Amazing product and experience
As a small business owner, I wasn’t sure about switching to Lightspeed POS at first—it felt like a big commitment, and I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get started. But honestly, I’m so glad I made the leap. The system has completely transformed the way we run things, saving us time and making everything so much smoother.
What really stood out, though, was the support I got during the setup process. Sam B. was an absolute gem—friendly, patient, and super knowledgeable. They walked me through everything step by step, answered all my (many) questions, and made what I thought would be a stressful process actually enjoyable.
Now that we’re up and running, I can’t imagine going back. Inventory is easier to manage, sales are seamless, and reporting is so much faster. If you’re considering Lightspeed, I’d say go for it—and if you get to work with Sam B., even better!
