This site used a misleading information making me order a bottom of a desk only for 199. I thought i ordered a complete desk. They say that the top is "ordered separately", but this information is not well visible. The most important is that the webpage shows a full desk and the title and name of the product also refer to a full desk.

We had a warranty issue, Memory Express handled our concern .
We have taken our computers to them several times for service. Memory Express is very professional. Even suggested what could go wrong In the future. I would not go anywhere else to purchase or get our computers service
Thank you very much for you experience and service.
Totally awesome experience. As you know Microsoft is doing tons of automatic updates that you cant refuse. My computer started running super super slow. I brought it in to be looked at and the guy at the counter fixed it immediately with no charge. Totally awesome will definately be back. They people know their stuff. Wont go anywhere else now. Thanks so much
Had a great experience with Chris on the repair desk. Had bad news ultimately but went a few extra miles to ensure I had the right info to make a tricky repair decision. 5 stars for him, he really gave a solid effort. Docking a star that the Gigabyte brand is carried here despite being a not great product with lots of issues.

MEMORY EXPESS THEY ARE THE BEST
Wow! How lucky was I to find memory express! It is now my go to computer shop for everything! I tried Lenovo’s web site, I couldn’t speak to a person, tried their fault finding but didn’t want to buy their extended warranty (which I don’t think would have even covered me). The staff at Memory Express are awesome! They are knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to what I had tried and they took my laptop in and said they would either get it running again or save everything on it to a harddrive. As I was from out of town they got it all running good again before I left to go home after the stat holiday. Thank you so much!
My advice is before going anywhere else go to Memory Express

After sales support is a total joke
Purchased a Acer gaming laptop from Memory Express Edmonton West on July 12th 2024. It’s cost just under $3000 and was really good for about a month. Then it would start to crash during certain applications and games. Not a blue screen. But an app crash. Unfortunately I work out of town on shift work so I had to wait until October 10th to take it in for analysis and repair. I also determined that the 16gb’s of ram wasn’t enough as it was using over 80% when running games. I was quoted 5 business days for diagnostics and $50 for a backup. They didn’t quote me for RAM upgrade and said they would call me when it was time for the upgrade. I didn’t receive a callback at all and had to call in 2 times to get updates. I was told by 1 tech on Wednesday a week later (4 working days), said the laptop just got on to the bench and that I would hear back the next day. The next day came and went with no call. So I called back on Friday. I was told it was still on the bench. When I took the laptop in I made it very clear that I was heading back to work out of town on Monday the 21st and I needed it ready. I drove in to Edmonton to check on the status since I wasn’t getting anywhere over the phone. I was told it would be done either later that day or Monday morning. It was done for Monday morning. When I picked it up the laptop was completely wiped and the backup that I paid for was to Microsoft’s Onedrive?! So I had to download the backup on my own time. Which with GB internet has taken a couple hours. So why did I pay $50? Also the RAM upgrade cost me $330 (64gb). I expected to pay for the upgraded RAM but they charged me a $20 RAM install fee AND a $55 charge for 1 service hour! what the F***? . I’m completely beside myself with frustration with this company. The Techs are argumentative, they do not follow up when they say. They don’t care about your equipment and also don’t have the machine ready when they say. I will never buy a product from them again. The whole experience was an expensive joke.

Been a customer since 2009
Been shopping at MemEx since my first build back in 2009 at their Calgary location and, since returning to BC in 2011, both the Richmond location, before it closed due to their rental lease ending, and, more recently, their Burnaby location with some infrequent dealings with the Vancouver store from time to time, and have never had an issue with the quality of service.
Had their Burnaby location handle the assembly of my newest build - I was feeling too lazy to be bothered cable managing it, lol - and they did a phenomenal job. Only very minor nitpick, though it was one that I was expecting thus knew to double check, was that I picked DDR5 6000mhz clock speed RAM but XMP was not enabled in the BIOS meaning the system was only running them at 4200mhz. As far as I know that could just be because it's technically overclocking and, since doing that has the potential to void warranties, it's company policy not to do it, hence why it's naught more than a nitpick.

Booked in my ROG STRIX G15 laptop for…
Booked in my ROG STRIX G15 laptop for service at their NW location as it was stucked in a boot loop. Prior to doing that I informed the rep the things that I've already did to the laptop. such as switching SSD drives, re-installing OS, switching RAM modules, and ask them if they could access the CMOS battery, as I noticed the date keeps on back tracking. Three days after, they called me back, telling me that they performed things that I have already done on the laptop and this model doesn't have a CMOS battery. I felt I got scammed and just wasted money. The rep that handed me the laptop seemed pissed too as I was joking that I deserved the refund. Obviously, same troubleshooting process will yield the same results. Better yet, they should have informed me about the CMOS battery, as that is the thing that I wanted them to do as I was assuming it was located at the bottom of the keyboard and I do not have the expertise to open up the laptop fully. Really suprised, as the NE location is very good to me. Only reason I went here is they have shorter turnaround time.

Horrible experience at the Calgary South store
I was in the calgary South store trying to buy a pair of iPods I was approached by a man who showed me the iPods I picked up a different piece of merchandise to look at and by the time I turned around he was gone.
No one came to help me at all and I ended up giving up on my three to $400 purchase
While I was waiting for my boyfriend I observed the employee walked past at least two women without saying hi so he could get to men.
After leaving a Google review I found out that the manager of the store was the one I was dealing with.
Now I understand that being a female in a computer tech store I am not the desired customer but that was completely rude.
I am leaving this review because if this is the standard that the manager holds for himself imagine how horrific his team will act with no fear of consequences for improper behavior.
Ladies we deserve better stop paying this guy's Bills

Good product and fast shipping
I ordered a computer part for a cheaper price on their website. Their communication was great and the shipping was really fast. Except the part that their website looks very old and kinda hard to nevigate.

When they returned the Laptop, the SSD card was missing
I took my laptop which didn’t turn on to the Calgary SE store and they told me it takes 4 to 6 business days to get back to me with the diagnosis results and next step decisions. I called them after 8 business days for follow up and I was told that the Mainboard had a visual damage and it’s not repairable cost effectively sine it costs more than $1000 to replace the MB. I took the laptop and took it home. Opened it to take the SSD card for data transfer to my new computer but surprisingly realized that the SSD card was not there. Called the shop, they checked the security cameras and told me that it was left on the shelves and they forgot to replace it before returning the laptop. They didn’t seem apologetic and I wasn’t convinced that things just happened unintentionally.
I had to make a third trip to the store and get my SSD card back. They didn’t even try to compensate for their mistake.

Unbeleivable levels of incompetence…
Unbeleivable levels of incompetence shown from the repair department.
TLDR: brought in a dead Motherboard, they said it works fine, brought in whole pc for them to charge $55/h labour to look at, 2 weeks later they say the Motherboard is dead, try to say its because of an issue that never existed, missplaced the PC side panel saying they didnt have it, wont be shopping here again, ever.
Built a PC for a client using parts from memory express.
Wouldnt turn on after a few months of operation.
I took it apart to diagnose the issue, PSU worked but would not power on.
Issue had to be the motherboard, so i brought it in to be RMA'd.
Waited a WEEK for the in house technicians to test it, told me it was "fine".
I took their word for it (big mistake).
Must be the CPU then, brought it in, nope its fine.
I re assemble PC in every possible configuration, still dead.
Bring in the whole PC for them to say "huh it wont turn on, even with our test PSU".
they take the PC for 2 WEEKS to look at, just to tell me its the Motherboard.
That is what i told you over 3 WEEKS AGO now, and was told it was working.
So either no one looked at the Motherboard or they knowingly gave back a dead Motherboard knowing it would be brought in for them to charge more money to "Fix".
Then on pickup the PC was missing the side panel, they adamently tried claiming it never had one, then after being told to go find it they laughed about misplacing AN ENTIRE SIDE PANEl. (this is quite telling of thier competence).
They then also said the reason it died was because there was no CPU cooler in the PC, There was, it wasnt present as why would i put it back in just for them to remove it?
Had they done what they were told initally and RMA'd the dead board when it was first brought in, My time and money would not have been wasted.
Will never shop here again and will spread the word to others.

0 Customer service wasted so much time…
0 Customer service wasted so much time sales sold us something wrong for us when we were very clear. Emails were ignored, and time was wasted sending products in to be looked at. Small businesses rely on companies like this to be almost partners, and their whole team, from sales to service to management, failed us.

Great service, immediate shipping!
I had ordered a second computer thru Staples and got an email saying my order was cancelled. No why - just cancelled - four hours of bad customer service later and I'm back online looking to buy a computer again. Found ME - they had what I wanted - I bought it. Yay. I got an email confirming that, then 20 minutes later an email with my shipping details. They got it to me in 3 days!! I'm thrilled with my purchase and over the moon with the customer service especially after the really bad experience with Staples! I'm amazed at all the bad reviews - my experience with Memory Express has been great and I will for sure use them again. Ty ty ty Saskatoon Memory Express!!!

Joel and Cody at the Dalhousie store…
Joel and Cody at the Dalhousie store made my life easy! I'm an old grandmother gamer with very little technical skills, whose laptop refused to continue to launch a game after its latest update. I was convinced I would have to buy a new one. But these young men were honest and fixed my problem (new driver required) all at no cost to me and with friendly and helpful insights. They now have my loyalty and I cant thank them enough. Thank you so much....I WILL buy a new laptop from you next year!!

Highly recommend
Each time that I go into Memory Express, I receive nothing but the best. I go in asking for specific products, they have them on hand. Or they give updates/recommendations as to what would work in it's place. Their warranty = incredible. I had a graphics card on it's last legs, and it was replaced without issue. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Staff is always friendly and give assistance when necessary.
