We were seriously thinking of changing our energy supplier and as we are walking through the streets of Liverpool we saw the octopus stand. My wife had pretty much already made her mind up with which provider we were going to switch to but the helpful Ignas rep informed us of how the switch could be done seamlessly and without any fuss. We were signed up within about 10 minutes absolutely fuss free and hopefully we will be happy with the service. Thank you for helping us out Ignas

Called into Octopus today and was met with Charlie who was very knowledgeable and helpful with my queries around an upcoming home move.

Within 10 minutes everything was sorted and all clear on w
hat needs to be done and when. Fast and efficient service with a minimal hold time to get through to someone (no lots of pressing buttons or talking to a speaker!)

First time phoning up Octopus Energy today. Didn't have to wait any longer than 10 minutes to get through.
The call was taken by Sidra, who listened patiently to my enquiry and then appraised me of
the options available. From there we were able to address each item in turn with positive results.
Well done Octopus on the quality customer service provided by your helpful, well trained, knowledgeable staff.

Georgia was fantastic - she listened to my problem and sorted it out within minutes. She explained what had happened and apologised for the inconvenience, even though it wasn't her fault. If the world had more Georgias it would be so much less frustrating to get problems resolved. Well done that lady!!

Friendly

Friendly, helpful and professional service provided by Yasmine of Octopus energy. She really put my mind at ease when we were discussing bill payments as I have had been struggling financially. Yasmine is an asset to your company. Hope to speak with such efficient and helpful staff again. Keep up the good work!

Abysmal customer service

The customer service I have received has been absolutely abysmal. I've had an ongoing problem since 16th December and nobody can seem to help me. Ive had numerous emails ignored which led me to contact the complaints department with 8 points of where Octopus have made mistakes with our account, I expected to get our issues resolved but was again, completely fobbed off.

Defo recommend

I am never really one to do a review but honestly ive just bought my first property and these guys have made it sooo easy for me, always easy to get a hold of and talk to an ACTUAL HUMAN and not a robot. I never need to wait more then 5 minutes on the phone and the service of their staff is always very helpful and positive.

I will indeed need to make contact with Octopus Energy to get a refund

Octopus have sent me an email regarding my account as I am leaving. A customer services representative, has said that I can cancel my direct debit after my final bill is produced, outstanding charges paid from my credit, and then had the remainder of my credit balance paid back to me. These are all things I mentioned in my last email to them when giving my meter readings to leave.

I still do need to contact you for these things as I do not know the precise time framework to have my final bill produced, the outstanding charges taken and me to have my remaining credit refunded before I can cancel my direct debit.

Octopus has sent me this so I am going to be emailing them back now and filled in this feedback forum as asked for.
