I was a bit apprehensive to book our first cruise via ROL rather than direct with Cunard but was delighted by the fantastic booking experience provided by ROL. Friendly customer support staff who explained everything in detail. And a discount as compared to a direct booking with Cunard too! Can't wait to sail now.

The experience of our first contact with the ROL company was really great. Unfortunately, our landline handset caused a real problem and we lost contact in middle the conversation but the ROL staff member Daren, was far deterred and persisted to make contact back with us. All was then continued through to our booking using my wife's mobile, and all was finalised very quickly and our full delight. Many operators would have given up and left us trying the contact.

All my questions about the cruise I was enquiring about were answered. The agent even phoned me back to give us time to be sure that we wanted to go ahead with the booking. One tip check what ROL offers are available as there was a £100 discount that wasn’t mentioned by the agent but was applicable!

I made my booking with a lady called Jasmine who was very helpful and pleasant from the outset. Whilst checking details about the cruise I was interested in Jasmine chatted helpfully about the target cruise liner and the booking was altogether an enjoyable process. VMT!

Jasmine was very helpful and efficient but didn’t waste time on unnecessary matters. The cruise was booked and deposit dealt with. I forgot to ask about cruise miles I have accrued, so will do so when the final payment is requested.

In the main I find ROL provide good value for money cruises. The problem I have is the lack of consistency with staff members. When I book the cruise the staff are always wonderful but once the cruise is booked and I have a query I often get the impression they are working from home and I have disturbed them. This may not be the case but I definitely notice a lack of consistency with staff members.

Katie informed me about special offers relating to my booking request which resulted in a small reduction in my booking. She was very helpful in advising me about the available cabins which was very helpful. She was cheerful and knowledgeable and I would happily speak to her again. We knew the cruise we wanted and Kate was very helpful in guiding us through accommodation and benefit choices. She was patient with our questions, gave us time to think it over and rang us back as agreed and answered our further questions without any problem We felt we were getting professional and well-informed advice and were not being sales pressured.
