This is by far the WORST company to go with and even 1 star is to high of a rating! They should not call themselves a broker or be in business at all! Please BEWARE & read my earlier reviews that are REAL & not a made up good review that are fake.

Terrible experience!
I booked my move way in advanced and they contacted a moving company on the day my stuff was supposed to be picked up!
They insist that you pay the deposit and other numbers charges via cash app and vinmo so you can’t revert it back!
Honestly it’s better you contact a moving company and not a broker save yourself a headache!

I’ve made my reservation back in April for my move in August.
I paid the deposit of $854.00
Around late July I got a call saying I need to pay around $950 more. Their preferred way was cash app or vinmo. They are market as scam on cash app!
After that Mitch Davis called me and said that the price has increased and I had to vinmo 500 more.
In August Mich Davis called me and said that in order to proceed I need to transfer $1000 now! Again via vinmo.
Mich told me that the movers would call me at lest 3 days before the pickup. They didn’t!
On the day of the pickup nobody showed up.
I left numerous voice messages and emails that weren’t returned.
One thing that I’ve noticed that they would call me from different numbers and when I call them back the number would be disconnected.
Later on the day of the pickup the moving company called me and informed me that they would pick up my stuff the next day!
I had a tight schedule and no prior communication was made so I was already on the road when they called me.
A lot of hidden charges! Shady vinmo transactions.
I do not recommend this broker at all!

We received a call from Mitch with a low moving rate. We thought we were getting a good deal. As our move got closer Brian told us mitch had been let go. Brian was difficult to get ahold of. He ignored our phone calls and texts. He changed our contract 7 times. Refused to refund the 5700 we put down for deposit. Movers never showed up and Brian never responded to our calls until we told him we were getting an attorney to sue him. Then he had a bunch of excuses and lies. Said movers were 15 minutes out. Movers called explaining their truck broken down 4 hours away. Had to file fraud charges thru the bank to get our money back. Bank determined it was fraud and gave us our money back. Worst experience of my life. Got feeling I would never see my stuff if they had moved us.

This company is full of con artists and there is a reason that they do not appear anywhere else when doing a google search other than this website where all the good reviews are literally either from people who work for the company or fake talking about how this company came and packed stuff when in reality these guys make it sound like they are the actual movers but are only brokers and Do absolutely no research on who they get to come pick up ans move your stuff once they get their deposit. They literally had a company come do our move who has 1 star average reviews on google and made our move a nightmare, threatened us, moved only half our stuff and left us scrambling a day before we had to move out of our place ans brian claimed the company had “great reviews” and he wasn’t sure what went wrong. Any idiot with access to internet could find out in under a minute that this company he sent to move our stuff was horrific … I hope these guys go to hell. I am filing a complaint with the fbi who are actively looking into moving companies like this who are scam artists

I was VERY impressed with Safety First Moving and Storage. I was able to hire them a couple of weeks before I needed to move from California to Colorado. They were quick, efficient, and careful with my belongings. They wrapped all of my furniture in padded blankets. They disassembled and reassembled several large pieces of furniture easily. Everything made it unbroken and free of any damage. Not even a single scratch! They were polite and placed things where I asked. Brian led me through this process very easily. I will be recommending them to anyone I know and will gladly use them again myself in the future.

This has been one of our worst experiences or our married life.we both retired,and found a place to live in South carolina.Upon calling and talking to Mitch,we got a quote to move around the 15th or june This happened on the 2nd of May.Paid them 1200 dollars and never heard from again.Stoped payment around the 15th of may,May, after many calls never a answer or a return call..Soon as that happened heard from Brian that Mitch no longer worked there,and he now handle our move.I then called bank who released hold on check.We are now at May 29th.Get a call from Brian that they never got the money.I send them another payment on June 2nd I then call bank and they say that first and 2nd payments were made.I call and actually get to talk to brian,Brian, he tells me to charge back to my bank for one of payments as it we take him a couple of weeks to get money back.Then finally a truck comes to pick up our furniture on 17th of June. find out it might that 21 business days to receive it.So here am I and wife both retired no bed,pots or oans, or my government issued medicines.There are going to be some unhappy people if I have to get the meds

Going with the below reviews, they are absolute scammers. As people have said, you pay them money and they disappear. Both Mitch and Brian were nowhere to be found after I paid them my money. They also sent movers to my house on the completely wrong day and never fulfilled the services. Complete con artists.
They actually sent movers to my friend’s house and did a mafia style shakedown and refused to leave the home. I called about 7 numbers to contact them.
Eventually got ahold of Brian who agreed to give me a refund if I didn’t report him to the department of transportation. He then turned back on his word as he originally said he would give a refund, then said he was having issues with the billing department and asked me to back charge through my bank. When I asked for a status, he claimed that he never said that.
Took my money and were never to be seen or heard from again. Trying to dispute with Chase currently. Complete scam. I encourage anyone who has also been scammed to file a report with the DOT and BBB plus the website you found them on.

Safety First Moving and Storage did a wonderful service for me! I was able to move from Florida to Texas without any issues, even when something felt off I was able to speak directly with Brian to resolve those issues and have a smooth delivery. My move went wonderful and I am very grateful to this company for helping me by coordinating my move! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a smooth booking and move process. Thank you!!!

I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star! They are awful. Worst service ever, and huge liars! I paid a deposit on April 6th with a guaranteed pick up and delivery. One day before, my pick up was changed, then changed again! I got a text on the day of pick up stating they could not pick up or complete the job! Do not trust this company. They are liars and scam artists. Mitch and Brian are liars. Reported them to the DOT and working on legal and financial recovery!! These cowards would not return my calls or emails for 3 days! I got the information regarding my things were not being moved 7 weeks after I paid a deposit... and then they claimed there was nothing they could do.

I recently relocated from Arizona to Pennsylvania and I had a moving company lined up for weeks. The company showed up and demanded an extra 2,500 dollars for the load after a salesman already came and took a full inventory and quoted me less. I told them to F off and called Safety First Moving and Storage and let them know my situation. I was out of time and needed a miracle. They not only showed up the next day but they personally loaded my house up and hit the road on no notice. They packed the truck so nicely that nothing moved an inch for 2,400 miles. Not only did they do an amazing job they even came under budget and was honest about it. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants an honest group of gentlemen to get the job done the right way. I am a dispatch manager at a large shipping department, so I understand the science behind moving products from one location to another, the logistics behind it all is pretty amazing but since at the time all of our trucks were in transit already, we had to scramble and outsource our project to Safety First Moving and Storage. They were very professional and efficient, they made our move so much easier and really got us out of a bind! We will most definitely be using them again!
