I am so tired of calling and every single time being told "Let me put a message out to the Team and get some additional instructions/information". Does anyone there at Toast know how Toast even works or do you just hire a bunch of people who just answer the phones for you? Give me the number to your Top Level of people to speak with!! I'm tired of going through every single level to get an answer or resolution!!!

Unbelievably poor customer service. Every person you speak with will tell you something different. It's really incredible how poorly managed and trained they are. If you every have to transfer a business to a new owner, get prepared for countless phone calls, miss deadlines and failed promises from toast.

The absolute worst. Said my order was delivered. Both the restaurant and I were perplexed. Decided to go pick the order up myself. Now I have Uber eats drivers harassing me telling me to cancel my order when there’s not even a cancel button for me to press! Oh and the food was cold. Never using this app again.

I emailed three weeks ago asking for something to be corrected that was the fault of Toast in the first place and I still have no resolution to this issue. Pretty disappointing to say the least!

Toast Payroll Nightmares!

I contracted with Toast for payroll as they were offering great pricing. Well buyer beware! Do not do it! Toast Payroll is the worst. We have been using Toast Payroll without issue and just recently decided to add a second business to Toast Payroll. The first payroll run was fine but only 1/2 of the money was debited from my account. I spent the entire weekend signaling something was wrong. They kept telling me to wait until Monday. Monday comes, they keep telling me to wait until they get back to me but they can't tell me when that will be. Finally at 9pm tonight I went to run payroll for this week and it says I am shut down. I contact customer support and they said we sent an email to [insert my hourly employee's name here]. What? You sent a private business email to my employee? What was the email? They forward me the email and it is a notice saying my account wasn't able to be located and that I won't be able to pay my employees until I wire the money. I've been trying to give them the money for days. This email was sent at 11:30am. I had talked to customer support at 8:30am and 2:45pm and no one mentioned anything until I contact customer support at 9:45pm. Of course their banking team isn't available until the morning. I contacted my bank and confirmed that nothing was even attempted on my account.

Still owe me over $182,000.000 a follow up on my last review- withing…

a follow up on my last review- after 10 days of NO REPLY reply from TOAST i get a message from TOAST within HOURS of posting on TRUST PILOT. imagine that. It shoudnt take that to get a response, that's unfortunate.clealry after 4 months of trying to get resolution, a negative review was not the route i preferred. which leads me to this next part:
they still owe me over $187,000. $42,000. of the original 227,000K was immediately paid out by AMEX, thank you AMEX, no questions asked, no signing of legal documents, non disclosure, no lawyer etc.
2 weeks after my TRUST PILOT posting TOAST sent a very legal document stating that they will pay me the full amount owed; with conditions. Let me get this straight: i have to agree to conditions set forth by TOAST, in order to get back monies that are rightfully and legally owed to me by TOAST? i find that odd.
Two of the many conditions listed were problematical for me.
#1- i must agree that any and all past, present and future issues with TOAST will be dismissed without judgement.
#2 i must agree to remove any disparaging posts.
This one i found particulalry interesting.
I am not in agreement with these two and have replied as such.
in my reply i delcined to agree to those, and in additon put in a ondition of my own. I requested they at least cover my now added legal costs, interest on monies owed, and compensaton for stress, anxiety, time, pain and suffering over financial strain. $5,000.00. That was all. This doesn't even begin to cover interest lost on that amount from last 6 months, neverimind tha tfomr the past now amost 3 years. Adjusted request amount denied.
ALL I WAS ORIGNALLY SEEKING WHEN THIS EROR WAS DISCOVERED BACK IN AUGUST WAS THE ORIGNAL AMOUNT OWED.
The delays, position of no accountability, and forcing me to spend money to get what was owed is unacceptable.

2 more broken handhelds that won’t turn…

2 more broken handhelds that won’t turn on and won’t get any power. They want to charge over $400/handlheld when there’s obviously an issue with the hardware. That’s a total of 4 handhelds in less then 18 mos that won’t turn on. All of them were/are in perfect physical condition.

Toast Pay Card, BEWARE

We have a server who had his Toast Pay Card compromised. Trying to get anyone at Toast to do something is impossible turns out Toast uses a third party company, Gailileo to facilitate their pay card program. Employee has been waiting over a month for a resolution and nada. Not only would I not recommend this product, I will be terminating Toast Payroll altogether, at potentially Toast as a POS as well. Worst customer service.
