Bought a macbook air m2 on this platform from Polish Perfect Items S.C.
It came with non-original power supply and usb-c to usb-c cable instead of magsafe3. This power supply was consuming 0.3watt in idle state (not plugged to macbook) and what is worse, i was able to charge macbook only once. I tried several power supplies, nothing worked. Luckily I got a refund after I sent macbook back.
On a funny side, macbook came with a system set to Polish language. This wasn't a major problem since I understand Ukrainian and was able to navigate to systemsettings to change the language.
Also there was a clearly visible dint on the back of the screen (like something heavy and blunt fell down on it), although I expected nothing more than small scratches on the metallic case.

Annoying but also a lesson to me. Check the origin and return it asap if it does not convey to EU conformity.

Works well but not worth it
Backmarket is a legit business that works well, but from the perspective of the value is a hit and miss, sometimes close to a scam.
You could buy an item in 鈥渧ery good condition鈥� and you get a spotless device with an 85% battery health. Which they will gladly replace if it gets worse than 80% after 6 months, which obviusly doesn鈥檛 happen. But not too long after that, the device is unusable due to the battery health being severely degraded.
So you save 200鈧�, get a device with lited battery life and then spend 150鈧� or more a year later to replace the battery, if that鈥檚 even possible. The maths don鈥檛 math.
Stay away.

Not to be trusted at all, they act like a scam
They advertise a 30 days refund.
I've tried a refund twice within 30 days, once it was a defective device.
In both cases backmarket dishonestly avoided my messages and tried to avoid paying me my money back.
When I returned a regular working device because it was not towards expectations, they delayed paying me back for over a month after I returned the device, and did not react and not communicate anything about the status.
With the refund of a broken device I requested my money back, instead the try now to send me another which I did not ask for and don't want.
They are dishonest and try to screw you over. Don't buy with them.

I ordered a product and it had several defaults
I ordered a product and it had several defects already, as the state was not in its condition as promised. Some defaults with the screen, the battery wasn't working well and was not recognized by the device.
After half a year as the the defaults of the device got worse i send it in for repair. They refused to repair it because of a small crack the phone has on the back.
I brought it to the repair shop had to pay quite an amount to fix the defaults. They said many of the components of the phone where not original and bad quality. Such as the battery, the screen (which was defect). The little crack in the back is absolutely independent of the defects the phone had, which have been from beginning on.
I am Unhappy with quality of the product. And unhappy with the service that was provided to repair, replace the product.

iPhone 13 Pro: Good service, Outstanding product, Fast Delivery

I recently purchased an iPhone from Back Market, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The phone arrived in pristine condition with no scratches or blemishes鈥攊t genuinely looks brand new! The performance has been excellent, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the device.
The service was also top-notch. The ordering process was smooth, and the phone arrived exactly on time, which was a huge plus. It's clear that Back Market takes customer satisfaction seriously.
If I had to nitpick, I鈥檇 suggest improving the packaging for those who might want to gift the product. While the cardboard box was functional and secure, it lacked the elegance one might expect for gifting. A more refined packaging option would make the experience perfect.

I bought a MacBook Pro(2017) for 800 euros. It was written that the battery was changed for new one. As a result, the keyboard jams at the beginning.
After one year, when the warranty expired simply turns off at 50% charge, or even at 80%.
I do not recommend to buy anything here

ordered iPhone 13 - got i Phone 12 - and had to go to the police to be refunded
I had a terrible experience with BackMarket. In September 2024, I ordered an iPhone 13, which I had to return shortly after receiving it... as it turned out to be an iPhone 12 (...?!??!). After the return, I heard absolutely nothing from BackMarket for months. No updates, no responses鈥攋ust complete silence.
It was only after I filed a fraud complaint against the platform and the seller with the police, that they finally took action. Eventually, in mid-December 2024鈥攖hree months later鈥擨 received my refund. There was no real apology, just a generic excuse and a 10% discount voucher for a future purchase, which I promise I will never use...
This kind of service is unacceptable. The lack of communication and accountability shows a complete disregard for customers. I would not recommend BackMarket to anyone.
