I have used Bitiba France for nearly 10…

I have used Bitiba France for nearly 10 years without any problems. Delivery via GLS was perfect, never any issues.
Since GLS has become Rhenus I have issue after issue. My current delivery, just like another in the past few months, was due 13/5 and today is the 17th and still I have no information when or if they feel like executing the order. Contacted GLS but got only a blabla response, contacted Bitiba who took action immediately but still rely on this useless delivery company.
I will stop buying from Bitiba until they decide to use a reliable transporter.
Now I have to drive 30 minutes to the next supermarket to replenish my pets food! Prices may be compatible but choice of transporter is below acceptable.

Good place for pet supplies

Writing this review after multiple purchases in Germany, Switzerland and France. The French site also offers lower prices on some items and I can easily get them delivered to Relay points across the border.
This shares the same platform as Zooplus but most of their prices are a bit cheaper. Never had any issues with any of my orders and this is one of my to go sites for my dogs’ day to day supplies. You also get higher percentages of discounts, the higher your order value is.

NEVER USE AGAIN

Have used Bitiba regularly for vegan dog food. Recently they are using Rhenus Contract Logistic via GLS. What a complete disaster. Bitiba have become a loser company and we won't recommend or use them again.

Great customer service

1st order was smooth and came very quickly. The 2nd order - Chronopost says that they have delivered my package which I have never received and driver has never even called me.
When I sent this complaint to Bitiba customer services in France, a very lovely lady called me within 24hours to address my issue. She was very helpful and offered me a refund.
I will be placing my order again once the items are back in stock.
Thank you for the help, very satisfied.

My package was false marked as…

My package was false marked as delivered and upon contacting Bitiba about this they did nothing to help with fixing the issue. I think seller should carry responsibility for the courier service they use and making sure that customer receives the product they have paid for.

Worst customer service ever

Terrible experience with this website. Not the first time I am ordering from them, definitely the last one. The courier brought a heavy package in terrible conditions ( it was broken) and called to let me know it’s on the front door of the building I live in, he cannot carry it inside the building and put it in the elevator( how they usually do in pandemic times) claiming it’s due to COVID restrictions. In fact all couriers are delivering to your apartment these days wearing a mask or simply leave the package in the elevator and the receiver calls the elevator to their floor and picks it up. So I had to carry it down the stairs until I reached the floor where the elevator is ( our building is particular as you have to go down a floor and call the elevator from there), being a woman and also with back problems. I wrote to their customer service and they replied the transport is not in front of the door but in front of the building but there is nothing mentioned on their website and I specifically showed them such information is missing. 3 emails from them with the same lines, which made me feel treated like I am an idiot and my frustration grew tremendously. Avoid them!!!
