Danielle and Dermott at the Blackburn store are a credit to the company. I went into store to exchange a lightshade (Baldaz) as one of the shades had cracked. Danielle took all of 5 minutes to ensure I had a new shade (not cracked). The customer service and efficiency was 10/10, and I really appreciate all the help! Would recommend them to anyone.

I continually get emails about offer vouchers, which are NEVER actually redeemable unless you spend a certain amount or get there before a certain date, WHY?
It makes me feel conned & determined to b
uy my goods elsewhere. Why not do a card system like other places, Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, certainly makes folk go back there.

B n Q in IOM is wonderful. All the staff are super-helpful and polite, they go out of their way to help you find the things you need in the store, and readily exchange or refund any erroneous purchase that you may have made. The prices are also good for many items in comparison with some other local suppliers.

Absolutely awful service. Six weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. I have to phone them constantly, explain the situation again and I get told something different every time. Whatever you do, don't book online, go to a store (and after this, I wouldn't even recommend that). I've never come across such appalling customer service.

Good customer service from the floor

With the exception of following a cavalcade of tractors into the B&Q Reading car park as part of the government protest, the experience was great. All of the items I required were in stock. A very helpful employee was able to assist the exact location, once I had identified the aisle from the app. Another great employee was able to cut up my plywood to the correct size. The only part that could have been improved was the till area, I had a trolley full of goods and had to find someone to assist me going through the self service till. It would have been much better with a sales assistant on the till. Thanks

Screwfix next time!!!

Sunday afternoon in B&Q Speke to learn they have only 2 plumbers that work in their store and they both have same weekends off. This is crazy and suggests poor scheduling. However, a lovely lady by the name of Liz did her best with the help of google to assist us. While I didn't get exactly hat I needed she was lovely a deserved a mention.

Next time I will just go straight to screw fix

Poor stock in branch.

Our local store (Redditch), although it is quite a large branch, rarely has what I want in stock. If you order for delivery and pay delivery costs, the order goes to a third party, independent company. I suggest if you can't find what you want elsewhere and are prepared to wait, go directly to B&Q's supplier which is usually given. It will probably be cheaper.

Great produce selection and service.

I’ve been shopping at B&Q for about 40 years. There was a time when the store in Newbury had gone down hill. But in recent years, it’s been improved massively. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and polite. The 90 day return policy is really great as sometimes it’s necessary to buy lots of materials before the project starts. The Clubcard rewards are ok, but often not able to make use of them, so lose out. Some prices are too high and can often find the same or similar products in other shops at a better price. Sometimes up to 50% cheaper than B&Q. The garden Center is very good. I recently had a large online order and the B&Q delivery service was fantastic. So good in fact that I called them to say thank you. Overall, I’m happy with B&Q and the service they provide but am likely to visit more if the prices were more competitive.

Replacing kitchen doors

I needed to replace the doors on my kitchen units as the previous ones after 17 years had started to delaminate
I seen the TV advert for B&Q on the 23 rd December for up to 60% off their kitchen doors
I purchased 17 doors of various sizes and received
40 % off the ones I chose I also bought some soft closing hinges
I was informed of the delivery date and they duly arrived on the day at the time I was given
The driver notified me 30 minutes beforehand
Unfortunately 3 off the the doors were wrongly sent
They were a different style to the original order
However that was not a problem and was soon rectified
All in all a good experience and I am happy with both the doors and price

Excellent service provided by the B&Q…

Excellent service provided by the B&Q Leicester branch. The staff, especially Dimple, were outstanding. Dimple not only highlighted ongoing promotions but also delivered exceptional customer service at the Trade Counter . Highly recommended!
