To anyone considering using Fotor…. Before you waste your money on the WORST Image Enhancement App on the planet, look up the meaning of “Fotor Meaning”. And take note it’s completely the opposite of the meaning, so much so, that they should reinvent the meaning of “Fotor”. I kid you NOT, it’s absolutely the worst app you could ever wish to use. So, anyone giving Fotor above a “ONE STAR”, clearly hasn’t really done anything other than perhaps try to enhance a photo. Apologies to those that have rated above a “ONE STAR”, hopefully, you will encounter the rubbish it puts out for yourselves, and then you can comeback and rate it for what it’s worth. A application that isn’t fit for purpose, and moreover, is an absolute rip off at every level.

I cancelled the same day that the 7-day trial ended and they charged me and now they don't want to give me my money back. They are frauds, thieves. Be careful with this company.

It appears in search results, but when you try to edit a specific image, it doesn't provide the features that drew you in, such as using "FREE" as clickbait. Instead, it requires you to sign up. It's not worth using.

I paid for their service and within less than an hour they were already saying that I had reached the daily rendering limit!?!?! What? I don't remember any mention of such strict limitations when signing up for this paid service! Even worse is when they impose these strict limits they then expect you to upgrade to the next tier up for an unspecified additional number of daily renderings (still limited to a very small amount if using the 1st price point as a reference!)

I run my own website so I know for a fact that hosting doesn't cost THAT much! Even some FREE services give you 10 times the usage before they expect you to pay! With that, there is no reason to limit their service to paid users in such a strict manner other than the fact that it's a scam! They're hoping that you won't read the fine print and instead just desperately throw more money at the problem once they shut you down halfway through a project!

The only customers they're hoping for are the ones that barely use the service! Total amateur hour BS!

The sales promise does not match the experience. I trialed the headshot offer. Upload a photo and received a bunch of AI generated headshots. Result was that this was it and if I wanted other options or use another picture I would have to pay again. So you pay upfront with no way of verifying what you get in exchange. What business model is that? Fooled once, not again. Sade your money!

I used this for one day to try out the hairstyles ai. Sure, it adds the hairstyle, but it also disfigures your face. I look like an alien with nice hair on top of a double forehead. I remember canceling the free trial that day on their site because I wasn't happy with their product & didn't want to use it. Now, they've charged me the annual subscription cost.
Attempting to contact their customer service is useless because they just cite their policy on not giving refunds. They said if I could prove I canceled it, then they'd refund me. I don't know about you, but I don't just screen-record everything I do on my computer to get them proof. They also didn't send an email or any advanced notification before billing me for the annual subscription. Why would I think I still have it if they don't send something like that - like every other subscription-based service I've worked with before? Also, I don't remember anything being prominently displayed about their no-refund policy when I signed up, so I didn't think anything of it when I reached out for a refund.
It feels predatory.

Somehow my personal information from Fotor has been found on the dark web, and I only know this thanks to Norton. My email used for the site, username and avatar are reported to have been found on the dark web. Do not use fotor. These reports are from October of 2020 and earlier. I think I maybe only used Fotor once for free.

Title: **Disappointing Experience with Fotor AI Services**

I recently used Fotor's AI service to give my photos a professional touch, but the results were highly disappointing. The photos they delivered were completely unrecognisable. For instance, my short hair was altered to long hair, and my facial features were so drastically changed that even my close contacts wouldn’t have recognised me.

When I reached out to Fotor’s customer service, they only offered a 50% refund, stating that their standard policy is not to issue refunds at all. Reluctantly, I accepted this partial refund, though I believe their product was unfit for purpose. It’s worth noting that the company is aware of their AI tool’s shortcomings, as they admitted in their emails that they are working on improvements.

In my experience, Fotor’s AI services did not meet expectations, and I cannot recommend them. Until their products and policies improve, I would advise potential users to proceed with caution. Very disappointing overall.

I wanted to cancel within the 7 day trial period and in error went to a different account. I asked for a refund of the subscription cost on Day 10 and while customer support was responsive they refused the refund. Poor service and really do not care about the poor customer relations or the poor ratings on Trust Pilot.
Waste of time and money as the results of their outputs is also well below par.

They're Chinese and they steal your money! DON'T sign up to any free trials as they'll take your money immediately and refuse to refund you when you cancel within the trial period.

They're disgusting people and I wish I'd checked here first, thankfully my bank are refunding what's been stolen but they need stopped!!

I've been a subscriber for some time and have found the software very good but I keep being asked to upgrade which I did sometime ago and I keep getting blocked even though I subscribe. On top of that in order to use some features I have to minimise my screen because the controls don't always work. The software is great but I wish the controls worked all the time and I didn't get blocked from using what I'm paying for. Put those right and you'll have a very happy member because the effects are great.

*** I got a refund!!!

Unfortunately another internet con typical of scammers and corporations. Offer a bit, customer takes it, hold their slight progress hostage with further financial demands.

I was after a bulk background remove but buying $63 of "credits" gets no access to the "services" so it's no operating difference to using the free demo. Even with "credits" a single removal only offers a low resolution download. They demand I pay for one of their many levels of "Pro" subscriptions for that. We all know where this leads. The same subscriptions that others here testify resulted in taking a year of monthly payments at once, and other random charges to their credit cards.

I am trying to ensure Fotor cannot charge my account again and am not touching using my credits at all to ensure no complications. If just one payment is validated I fear it will open a flood of minor charges equivalent of my account being hijacked by an internet hacker.

They claim to e refunding my money. Will update if it really happens.

The app can't handle anything out of the ordinary, creative. I ask it to draw an empty swimming pool with deck charis sitting on the bottom. It refuses to put the chairs in the pool, and won't draw any empty pool no matter what I say. If you are a serious artist this is pure junk. Drsw That!

This site is frustrating. It claims to be free, but when you try to download an image, it asks for your credit card number and then says you can't complete the download.

After 5 months of anual suscription via Applestore, all the AI programs and some other features stop functioning. Wrote to the company and was told that they didn´t have my suscripcion. Talk to apple and they did not help. I did not renew the suscription and changed to PIXELMATOR wich is much more complicated and difficult to use. Very bad experience from me.
