I was unfortunate and got cancer in…

I was unfortunate and got cancer in 2021. Médis upgraded my cover without extra payments, I got a call from someone to explain everything, I'm entitled too as a cancer patient. She told me, I can get a wig for up to 500 € and they pay for it. They paid for everything, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radioterapia, operation. I had the opportunity to compare with other insurances here in Portugal and Médis has been very good to me through this whole process. I recommend them to everyone

Avoid Avoid Avoid

I have just read previous reviews on this company and do not need to add to the horrific reviews. I can only advise anyone thinking of using this company to avoid it like the plague. My experience with them has been the worst of any - ever! Avoid avoid avoid!

cheating liars with mediocre service

We were lured by Medis inexpensive offers and English advertisement. Well, English support does not really exist. If you are lucky and do get through to an English speaking support agent, they will lie and get you into a world of troubles.

Before visiting a doctor, we checked everything with those scarcely available English support and went for a supposedly free check-up. Of course, nothing was free. So I cancelled the insurance and forgot them. Now a year later, I am receiving an email from collectors.

Medis is one of the worst expamples of Portuguese customer support and integrity. They take zero responsibility for their words and promises. Clearly, my advice is to stay way.

We are very disappointed from Médis Insurance

My husband and I joined this insurance through Millennium Bank. We pay together a considerable sum of 120 euros for both of us, every month. At the moment of truth when I submitted a receipt, including a doctor's prescription for the examination and treatment I did at a private clinic, they avoided giving me a refund. I called them on the phone and they lied that they sent a letter in the mail, of course nothing arrived in the mail and we have no problem with receiving letters home. When I sent emails they didn't bother to respond to them. Just a company of liars. They take a high amount from you every month but it doesn't give anything. We are canceling this insurance. It is better to use the public services or pay yourself to private clinics if necessary.
