By FAR the best hosting company I've used
Most people come to TrustPilot to leave negative reviews for poor service. They are usually too busy or unmotivated to take the time to leave a good review about a company. Scala Hosting definitely deserves 5 minutes of my time for a "Thank You!", and I see that nearly 2,000 users have felt the same way.
They are by FAR the best hosting company I have used in my 28 years of owning websites. I chose Scala because of their top TrustPilot score, and the past 6 months have shown me that this was one of my better decisions.
Apart from their extremely reliable server, Scala is a rare company for several reasons: Their top level management gets personally involved (instead of playing golf), their technicians are superb and go beyond the call of duty, problems are tackled immediately, they take pride in having a bug-free system, and they have a 'Suggestions' section where users can submit requests and vote for improvements.
Prior to switching to Scala, I was using cPanel and was concerned that Scala's SPanel would be limited and not allow me to do everything that I wanted to. However, time has shown that SPanel is more than adequate, probably 100X less resource-intensive than cPanel (which I now see as bloatware) -- and free!
I look forward to many more years with Scala!

upgrade after upgdare-> slow performance of the VPS
I decided to use VPS services because of the option to scale the resources. When I wanted more productivity, I did more than one upgrades.
Even after making the changes of the numbers of both vCPU and RAM, I still had to wait for e.g. update of an app. I know that the app update in general does not require too much time or resources. But here I had to wait for completion of the procedure.
During my stay there I asked for IPv6, but it was responded that at this moment it cannot be delivered.

I'm publishing this review because their website is so misleading when offering their hosting plans:
They have a lot of misinformation. According to their website, the Entry Cloud plan for WordPress comes with OpenLiteSpeed Caching technology and they mention it several times in their features, but it's totally far from reality. When you go to make the payment, they charge you extra if you want the Light Speed service. They should clarify that their plans come with Apache as their own support told me and that if you want Light Speed you have to pay separately.

You are correct that our website clearly states that the Entry Cloud plan, as well as all other managed VPS options, include OpenLiteSpeed - a powerful, open-source web server that we provide free of charge. This part of your review is accurate, and we appreciate you highlighting it. However, the second part of your review contains some inaccuracies that we kindly ask you to correct, as they could misrepresent our services and impact our reputation. The Entry Cloud plan includes OpenLiteSpeed by default, which is why it does not appear as an option on our order form - it is already included. What you saw on the order form, and I guess created this confusion, was the LiteSpeed add-on, a paid option, which is the Enterprise version of OpenLiteSpeed. The main distinction is that OpenLiteSpeed is not a direct drop-in replacement for Apache, as it only supports mod_rewrite. Despite this, popular CMS platforms such as WordPress run seamlessly on OpenLiteSpeed, delivering a significant boost in performance. With OpenLiteSpeed on a SPanel VPS/Entry Cloud, you can effectively manage millions of website visitors.
