Would just like to say a massive thank you to Danielle and Wayne at Swift for sorting out in a week, an issue with a glue stain on my caravan bathroom wall of my new Swift caravan, that l purchased 9 months ago from Grantham caravans, who sadly couldn’t sort the issue out for me. Danielle and Wayne were both kind understanding and very knowledgeable and are a credit to the Swift customer service team in my opinion. l can’t thank you both enough. One very happy customer guys â?ï¸?â?ï¸?â?ï¸?â?ï¸?â?ï¸?

Re: second recall on rear top lockers carrera 122 I have already given a top review, Swift service team were second to none worked spotlessly and left the van spotless when they left both of them are a credit to Swift
They dealt with our issue promptly and efficiently. Customer service was excellent and we were kept informed of the progress. The engineer replaced the toilet and we wouldn’t have known he’d been in our lodge if he hadn’t left a note! All in all we were extremely pleased with the whole experience.
I made my decision on the well professional engineer well man I’m very experienced in this job. I was very proud to be in this company when he was carrying out the work I would recommend WAYNE as an excellent fitter.

Reasuring assessment. Was polite, professional and courteous.
Swift do need to confirm visits though, before turning up. Had no knowledge of the arrival.

Swift can’t even give a straight answer. AVOID THEM
This reply will mirror your reply to my last review as you STILL DO NOT answer my questions.
1. Why can’t a swift caravan be taken back to a Swift Approved dealership like car companies do for warranty work.
2. Why do you say you came out as a gesture of good will, when you clearly go out to do repairs etc as some other reviews state, and your vans have signs on the stating this.
3. You say a small snagging list, there was over 15 issues on a brand new caravan that should not of been there inc a hole in a table, wiring done incorrectly so lights would works, faulty control panel, shower not sealed etc etc, these wasn’t little snagging things these were major things that should of been picked up before leaving Swift let alone the dealership. There was no quality control at Swift or the dealership
4. We was NOT told by the dealership at the caravan show we would have to take it on a over 250 journey back to them to have any works done, anyone in the right mind would of purchased from a local dealer if they had been told this, esp if they don’t tow.
So please stop fobbing me off with your excuses, Swift have cost me money because you don’t do the decent thing and allow your flawed caravans go back to any Swift approved dealership for warranty work. I myself work for a large company who allow people to take things back to a local place, not have to travel further if it’s the companies fault.
So NO my review doesn’t mirror previous, but is asking the same questions as above as you don’t answer them.

Missing Swift plate
Excellent service following my request for the Swift plate which was missing from my Motorhome. Peter in customer service was very good in dealing with my enquiry and kept me updated every step of the way. The plate is now displayed on the passenger side B pillar as instructed by Peter

Good Service from Steve & Dave
Steve and Dave came to house today to carry out recall work to rear lockers. Both were really nice and friendly and went above what i expected to carry out required work and other minor snags we had in the van. Many thanks.

Avoid Swift Caravans and their Warranties.
Following my previous reviews of Swift, i would stick to my AVOID AT ALL COSTS advice.
Have now had to eventually give in and pay £500 out of my own pocket to have my van picked up and towed “Back to Base as the warranty states to have work done that is under warranty and has been a issue since day 1 of collection of the Elegance Grande (theres nothing elegant or grande any more as its been problems since day 1) What should of been a happy new Caravan has turned into a nightmare.
Why cant a Swift caravan be taken back to a Swift Dealership anywhere like car manufacturers do with their car warranties, is beyond me. Especially if brought at a caravan show where you go and purchase the best deal, turned out a bad deal for us with the extra costs ive now incurred to go Back to Base.
Never again would i buy off Swift even out of principle. This has been on going for over 12 months and still not rectified but am having to pay out £500 to have warranty work done.

Steve & Dave rocked up at my home address to carry out some recall warranty work at very short notice, but they did call to ask if it was okay to attend, lucky I was working from home. Both chaps were super friendly and efficiently cracked on with their work on the drive way. They even went out of their way to help solve a couple of other snagging issues, and put me directly in touch with Corky who was supper helpful resolving a tank heater issue. No complaints at all, great to receive such good service.

If I could I’d give it -5 *s
If I could I’d give it -5 *s.
Swift Kontiki 794, worst piece of rubbish build I’ve ever encountered. Cost me an arm and a leg, when you pay +£90k you expect that it stays in one piece for at least one outing!
Anyone in their right mind should run a mile when they see the word swift.
Out of 8 outings, I had to abandon 6. From the panels falling off the wall to the sat nav not working, the the heating controls and thermostats not working, to the blind being broken to the taps leaking, to the clean water pump being positioned in a place where it’s ripped off going over a road hump, to the battery going flat (Fiat recovery great) the list was endless, it spent more time in repairs than on my drive, the carpets disintegrated, only one pig tail connected. The shower fitments came loose, the door handles came loose, the clips holding the blinds fell off, the windows took several times to push open, the skylight opened but would not close, the covers on the skylight fixing screws fell off on the motorway, the garage door locks stuck when you opened them you had to manually push the locks back.ineven had to have a new habitation door and a new habitation fly screen. And a new reversing camera.
I was in two minds to take it to beachyhead, put it in drive and watch it fly down to the rocks.
Ok it was all repaired, and who ever has it now has a 21 month old motor that might never suffer another problem, but you simply can’t trust Swift..
Bought April 23 gone February 25. I’ll n3ver have another Swift as long as I live.
So you now see the generic response below. Oh dear we are sorry, but you got it repaired by the dealer, well frankly that’s not good enough, from a purchase price of £96,600 plus an additional £5250 for hydraulics, I have lost £17,600 in value, £5250 for the hydraulics, 6 holidays of 28 days each, at a cost of £1440 each holiday, 6 times catching a train after dropping off the motorhome to sit in the dealership for days £48 per train, 6 taxis at £10 from home to Stoke Station, £13
4 times for tea and toast at the dealerships cafe, £68 for lunch in a restaurant near the dealerships.
As a multimillionaire, this is pin money, had I not been wealthy I may have been in financial trouble, I wonder though should I make a claim for loss against Swift? Would they accept service or go to court, should I go to court bring my family a news paper reporter with me and even if I lose, tell, the story of parts falling off the top of the range motorhome on a motorway endangering other motorists. I will have to consider this and see what my legal team has to say, that’s when I get home from being on holiday without a motorhome.
It’ll make great reading on motorhome fun that’s for sure..

Swifts after sales great service
We recently purchased a swift lodge and there were several issues/defects that needed resolving/correcting.
Swift quickly made arrangements for an engineer to attend and rectify the defects.
Jake (Swift Engineer) was very helpful, he was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly, he listened to our concerns and reacted in a very positive way, the rectification work was completed to a very high standard, and before he left he showed us the work to ensure we were happy.
Jake also liaised with Swift head office to help resolve several other outstanding issues, Jake was exceptional and we ask that he returns to complete the remaining outstanding works,
